As a South African I can tell you that our politics are not simple.
We have very poor Opposition who we don’t trust to run our country, and within the ruling ANC, there are two factions.
There is a state capture faction that almost took over our country again at the last ANC Conference but the weaker clean up faction led by the President of the ANC, Cyril Ramaphosa pulled it out of the bag at the last minute.
People voted ANC in the general to strengthen Ramaphosa’s hand within the ANC so he has the people’s mandate to reverse state capture and rescue our institutions of State. We are not naive about the chance that he fails either. Our options are poor and he was the best.
Btw. Rasigan Maharaj is an extremely left leaning academic so get off your high horse about his race!
Funny she finds Indians in South Africa, twice, to interview. No native African professors?? Apartheid never ended, and the West knows it. Black South Africans own less than 20% of their own land and resources after apartheid, meaning it didn't end. This election and the uprisings before it, prove the People are aware and want colonizers OUT!
Madiba forfeited transferance of the mines and economy to The People for His freedom. "Give me control of a nations money , and care Not who makes the laws" rothschild. That's why Ms Mandela left him.
Very informative video… but the correspondent's delivery makes this really drag on.
