Let's review: Americans "vote", but we don't elect the president. A combination of billionaires, parties, electors, and the media select the president for us. Our feelings do matter because we do all the necessary work in society. The billionaires, parties, electors, and media hope for our continued passivity after they choose a president. The fact that people had to line up during a pandemic to "vote" is a sign of how serious the billionaires, parties, electors, and media take "voting".
In the name of democracy the US is doing a lot of shit at home and around the world. I guess they do not know what democracy is all about.(rhetorical statement!)
