  1. Here is a view from abroad. In the French journal Reporterre in their article
"Au nom du Covid-19, les lobbies s’attaquent aux règles environnementales,"
which I translate as "In the name of Covid-19, the lobbyist attack
environmental regulations," published a recent weekly publication of the Centre
Patronal, the equivalent of the French Medef or, say, ALEC in the United States,
which summarizes well the fears of big bosses around the world:

Il faut éviter que certaines personnes soient tentées de s’habituer
à la situation actuelle, voire de se laisser séduire par ses apparences
insidieuses : beaucoup moins de circulation sur les routes, un ciel désert
par le trafic aérien, moins de bruit et d’agitation, le retour à une vie
simple et à un commerce local, la fin de la société de consommation (…) Il
est indispensable que l’activité économique reprenne rapidement et
    pleinement ses droits.

    or

It is necessary to avoid that people are tempted to become used to the
current situation, or even to be seduced by these insidious illusions:
much less traffic on the roads, a sky deserted of air traffic, less
noise and agitation, the return to a simple life and to a local trade,
the end of the consumer society (…) Economic activity must resume
    quickly and fully **its rights.**

What to say, direct and perversely honest. By the way, your translations
    will vary.

  2. Yes, Ben Dixon said it, take our power back don’t give them your money. As far as food goes, as Bill Mollison said, planting a garden is a revolutionary act. Power to the urban farmers and guerrilla gardeners

  3. I’m a 56 yr old country/ suburban old boy whom looks after his poorly ex wife in an ‘ expensive ‘ village ( or in America u may call it a small town as there’s 3000 folks living here in silence ) between Bournemouth and Southampton in an ancient country called “ Wessex “ . Anyway I must feed cats and check on the 4 Tortoises but I’m glad I’ve found you . Thank The Gods for the web ! 🏴😇❤️from near Stonehenge from the Wilverley Witches ( and plumbing & heating engineers ) 😎

  4. Hey I just want to thank you guys for bringing us knowledge, love and happiness during these tough times. You all do an amazing job

  5. Listening to this show along with several other independent media outlets, there is predominantly a negative opinion of corporate mainstream media coverage. Do you folks get the feeling that these folks at mainstream are not listening? Aren;t they not concerned about public perception? I mean as far back as 30/40 years ago, hardly anybody challenged anything they said back then; however, only a tiny minority believe what they say now.

  6. There is a two-tier justice system in the US, and it is so disgraceful because Trump and other US presidents have pardoned their criminal friends and allowed the various states to punish innocent folks, many of whom are black. The US government is criminal to the core: just ask Venezuela, Cuba, Iraq, Iran and many other countries through Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

  7. For a so-called dominant group, they have a deep insecurity that manifests itself in a need for cold-blooded murder against the “other;” that which will never assimilate, and for the same reasons. This is not the polite Black & Brown, but squarely against the American Black. Only those Black bodies are where the debt is. It directly connects to what is happening now.
