why not run an independent, progressive, socialist minded candidate in 2020. Somebody like a Jesse Ventura, or Tulsi Gabbard, or a Nina Turner- outside of the democratic party. A decent candidate could give Trump and Biden a run for their money- a good candidate can beat them. Even black leaders dodge the drug war, which is a neoliberal tool that never had anything to do with reducing drug availably. No-knock warrants will become one-knock warrants. as if there is a whit of difference. This crime of the internal colonies was contoured for drug offenders. Stop and frisk, mandatory minimums, and all the other bromides were to use the drug war as a feeder system to mass incarcerate the inevitable surplus labor from neoliberal monopolization. Naturally the fake war began with surplus labor that reflected the blacks involved with the Sixties rebellion. Sweeping police reforms that ignore the drug war have ceded radical causation for sloppy nibbling.
