Sunrise Sits In at DNC Headquarters, Demanding Climate Debate

1. Climate change will kill your children and grandchildren. It is an emergency. However, the DNC debates are a waste of time. The candidates get one minute to answer a twisted, Republican Talking Points question. A quick internet search will tell you each candidates climate plan, they all claim to have one. But the President is not a legislator. He/she is a moral authority, herding all the clever idea people in the right direction. Most of the candidates for president talk like they are running for congress, and we need them there. Look at who is taking action right now, going to Kentucky to battle the Grim Reaper, driving diabetics to Canada to buy insulin…….

2. Keep up the pressure and if they do not meet your demands, approach non-traditional parties that support your position.

   People should open up to alternative political parties, amid the fact that essentially, all which truly distinguishes the Democratic Party versus that of the Republican Party are simply degrees of separation.

5. The problem with calling it "climate change" instead of pollution argument as it used to ve, is no one can really prove the climate is changing or why (although it is). Everyone can agree that pollution is a bad thing, so anything polluting the atmosphere or harmful to the environment should be penalized or outright banned.

13. i love single issue debates. the argument can be made it should wait until there's a workable number of candidates left in the race so we dont get repetitive though. after that, i'd love to see poverty discussed thoroughly, and foreign policy in detail, the economy, education and health. it can showcase the dnc's priorities and allow single issue voters to hear the one that matters most to them.

They are trying to make as much money as fast as possible so they can escape while the rest of sit here and die slowly…they have Homeland Security camps with airports to flee to, places in New Zealand, and underground bunkers…they have been serving themselves this whole time and creating distractions.

When you add to this the vast infrastructure investments the plutocrats have made to extract these carbon intensive resources, and the vast fortunes many plutocrats are making thanks to exploiting fossil fuel, a debate on Anthropogenic Climate Change would be considered “Socialism” as it threatens the exploitative rights of the capitalist.

23. "The assumption that climate change is real", I loved that part. Someone, please explain to an ignoramus like me how taxation will change the weather? Literally dozens of " scientific studies" verifiably have been proven false or doctored. Every year these so-called scientists prove themselves nothing more than 'grant chasers' money grabbers & alarmists resetting the end of the earth further and further out.

26. People on the right keep telling me that according to Al Gore's film about global warming Manhattan is supposed to be underwater by now and it's not. Even where I live in Singapore the water levels are exactly the same at the beach as they were as far back as I can remember. So what do I tell the people on the right about global warming and melting glaciers when I cannot prove it to them? I need a good talking point to shut them up.
