  1. Non-issue pushed by the NAACP. I mean really, the NAACP HAS NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN ARGUE OVER A STATUE ? Try fighting for people, like black conservatives, rather than a statue, Ok.

  2. Erase all the history of slavery and then I will deny it and then people will just say what’s wrong with you people

  3. Leave up symbols of slavery really this idiot would probably leave Black people hanging in trees just to preserve our history

  4. Any one that wants to tair down a part of American history is a bandit and distracted of history it is part of our heritage

  5. Yeah everybody seems to forget about the 300,000 white guys that died to stop slavery and preserve the United States never worry about putting the statue up for those never word for the thousands of white abolitionist who worked tirelessly to end slavery and so many instances and so many states no statue for those white devils ay?

  6. It's your history to and removing a statue doesn't change anything wouldn't think you'd be trying to forget it either guess I'm just can't understand why you would want to remove the statue

  7. Oh, the ignorance of their own history. If it stood for slavery, please explain why so many black men and women supported the CSA, and actually entered the service (It's a matter of public record, in the US Government Archives). If it stood for slavery, please explain to me why so many black men and women participated in the erection of these statues (Again, public record, look at newspaper archives for pictures and articles). As for the time they were put up, go take a look at history. Not only was this the time that the South's economy recovered enough to be able to do this, but most of them were put up on an anniversary date of whatever or whoever they depict. Booker T. Washington not only approved of this, but helped in securing funding for it. Y'all need to educate yourselves, the information is out there.

  8. Slave holders in pre-civil war south were a very small minority. They are in no way representative the typical southern citizen. However, todays Democratic party came from that very same elite group of southerners.

  9. None of the actual soldiers could shoes let alone a slave. They didn't care about it. And remember u like democrats so much but they led the csa. And created the jim crow laws but your not getting rid of democrats.
