Either you do their bidding or you're primaried, and/or boatloads of money poured into the campaigns of their extreme candidates. Abbott is "just" doing their bidding. As are Cruz and Cornyn (to a lesser degree than Cruz). The good politicians retire, esp GQP. I live in a huge, extremely blue district in Houston (very diverse, lots of older white Dems, Black people, Hispanics, and basically an international UN of a port city), and our Dem congressional rep, and other politicians and districts, can't be beat by the overlords, thus the bill to be able to overturn any election in Harris County. They are desperate. The Austin "Reich" already took over Houston ISD, in order to properly brainwash our kids and also ruin public schools.

   Harris County is the 3rd most populous county in the US (1st in Texas), and Houston the 4th largest city (sometimes 3rd). Texas has led state exports since 2002, has the most Fortune 500 HQ. It has the 2nd highest gross state GDP, and if it was a country, the 10th highest global GDP. Went 52% to nearly 48% for Trump vs Biden, so it's not a Republican gimme. So whatever happens in Harris County affects the nation and the world. Esp in national elections with the 2nd largest # of Electoral College votes (Went 52% to nearly 48% for Trump vs Biden, hardly a gimme, as the metro counties grow). It's the perfect breeding ground, esp with Texas' independent myths (The Republic of Texas was a country once) and its large rural population which was easily and cheaply controlled, for the type of government the fascists want to institute in the US. Non-Texans, and some Texans, underestimate it at their peril.

10. Anyone who wants to criminalize self defense is attempting to restrict the use of a gun for self defense. This is what a dystopia does to its citizens. In reality a dystopia does not see you as a citizen. It treats you like a slave. A citizen has ownership of property and a right to defend his life and property. A slave is taxed for working and all his property is taxed. If a slave thinks he owns his property and life and he defends it with a gun he will be charged with murder. A slave cannot defend himself against assault or battery. The person who wants to take away the right of self defense with a gun is the same person who will deny he wants to take away your guns. Because criminals lie, steal, cheat, and kill. If they can take your gun they can lie steal, cheat, and murder even more. Liberalism is Satanism.
