   I find Chris's sex negative crusade to be tedious and off putting. I really don't understand it. Interview someone like Dr. Martin Klein about the US's war on sex and sexuality.

   On one hand Chris rightfully claims the Christian right are the biggest malevolent force inside the US on the other hand he feeds right into one of their most core narratives, the moral panic and mass hysteria around sex. Which is a known and documented hallmark of ALL fascist movements. It's well documented. It's like fascism calling card. Preoccupation and obsession with the supposedly secret sex lives of others.

Her views of sex are based on limited exposure to the worlds that she talks about in broad strokes. Her reductive and limited viewpoint created a highly skewed analysis that I found regressive at best.

    The areas of sexual expression she purports to have deep knowledge of have been around as long as humans have.

37. Our sex lives are a shamble for 4-5 reasons:
    1) our hormones are f. Up, due to junk food and lacking nutrition…fundamental to the further sex drive of both male / female libido
    2) Theres very little time now…to have sex.. due to needing to work 50-75 hour weeks being normal for the ability to pay bills…inflation, or fiat currency nations cant be sustainable to a species.
    3) Colleges are too expensive now…who wants to be spending 100k…to "earn the right", for example, to take on a "CRAPPY RN JOB" for example? Who wants to spend money, in ither words,…to become a SLAVE?
    4) What man, in todays society…is going to marry a woman, who probably works at a job as well.. just to lose "20-years-income-value" to women after a divorce?
    5) America castrated itself after Vietnam.. with women, thinking "they have penises, and acting like men.. and losing their' feminine power.. for money".

    Society will chase money forever…petiod

I appreciate some of her work – but honestly, she still asserts a lot of essentialist and neoliberal views that aren't as (de-/)constructive and in-depth as more radical feminists who've explored these problems, like Gail Dines, Ariel Levy, and the work I did with my past mentor Dr. Bernadette Barton.
