The feds want him to spend 20 years in jail for a single phone call, but the case is falling apart – Everything Law and Order Blog

The federal government attempted to build a case of guilt by association hinging on a single phone call, which would have left Sean Weston incarcerated for 20 years. The case of this beleaguered Baltimore businessman provides a stark example of our criminal justice system’s lack of equity as he has had his store raided on multiple occasions for selling legal products provided in stores online and elsewhere in the city. We also speak to James Gibson, who spent 29 years in prison after being brutalized, burned, and tortured by Chicago’s Commander John Burge and his infamous “midnight crew,” a group of officers who violated the civil liberties of citizens and committed acts of violence. 1. Was arrested for prescription forger, went to court plead not guilty start the court process, after continually pushing my trial date for lack of evidence, for over a year i had 6 hearings everyone pushed to a later date, finally i get a call from my lawyer that they were ready to dismiss, i was supposed to recieve my final court date via mail but never got it, 6 weeks go by and a bounty hunter pounds on my door telling me my bond was revoked, i go back to county, judge prs me after seeing the address was wrong. Next hearing and the prosecutor offers to drop all the charges if i plead to class c felony bail jump.

  2. the cops have hurt so many citizens when it's not for their safety and need to be held accountable for their action when they act unlawful.

  3. Justice delayed is justice denied…… destroying ones life without due-process-of-law is a crime and a criminal conspiracy.
Due-process that contains no law; and therefore is NOT synonymous with due-process-of-law; is a private process of the private and foreign law societies.
Guess who wins; regardless of who wins the case.

  4. More kids in prisons than colleges, mostly over presumed criminality over fallacious non logic that users do more of the crime… well when youve arbitrarily labeled them as such… no person should ever be charged for putting something in their own body. Next lets ban dildos, education, and medical scopes. Evvvverythings phobicist cowards and fools that dont understand beyond propaganda literally voting for their kids to be hunted if they dare smell like something harmless they enjoy.. fk i dont care if its fent, self medication is not a crime but i would just legalize it all and end that chem wmd nonsense too by removing all demand for dirtier street bs. Let em have cheap quality meds that are far less dangerous. Long as they aint robbing or violent fine, thats how crime should be labeled… via actual not imagined victimes using lying propaganda statistics.

  5. Your reports are very informative and thought provoking. However, to keep the focus on the story and to be taken seriously, I respect -fully ask you to rethink wardrobe choices that reveal cleavage. Good intentions here.

  6. Plato and Aristotle are cheap impersonations of Socrates. How can you garnish wisdom from a person so obviously vein that if you were a fisherman he would have thought fisherman should rule the world…. Side note Confucius is a fat ugly stupid 2nd rate Lao Tzu, beware anyone who promotes him over the other. They're undoubtedly using them to justify elitist power and Foster anti-democratic sentiment.

  7. During the 1950s corrupt Sheriffs and corrupt Police Officers in the South terrorized Black People. This led to the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, where millions of people from all over the United States of America went to the South and overwhelmed corrupt Sheriffs and corrupt Police Officers. We need a new Civil Rights movement where millions of people fight back against corrupt Sheriffs and corrupt Police Officers and overwhelm them.

  8. Chicago needs to be sued into bankruptcy. The punitive damages need to be in the billions of dollars. The corruption in Chicago is widespread. The Attorney General of the United States of America should be prosecuting these corrupt Police Officers. These corrupt Police Officers need to be convicted and sentenced to prison for the rest of their lives.

  9. Don't plea bargain man ,make them pay, confession by coercion or giving false testimony to any court should be thrown out as the lies of a corrupt judicial system

  10. This, at a base level, is a MALA IN SE versus MALA PROHIBE crime. He's selling OTHERWISE legal products, that harm no one. But since THEY MIGHT be used for a DRUG, that harms no one, cops raid his business. WHY? BECAUSE IT'S AN EASY CONVICTION, and that can make the govt money

  11. And the sad part is you know other police officers must’ve heard them screaming in the interrogation room, screaming for their lies, and did nothing did nothing. Nobody went to the FBI. Nobody made a call. They are all culpable every single officer in that police station that allow this to happen

  12. And the judges unsure these people told the judges that they were tortured burned and beaty, and they looked at the other way. They are responsible to the incarceration of so many innocent people, because they refuse to open their eyes. No one has any faith in our judicial system.
