The Largest Act of Terrorism in Human History – Daniel Ellsberg on RAI (4/13) – Everything Law and Order Blog

The British bombing of Hamburg in 1942, and the American firebombing of Japan in March 1945 that killed as many as 120,000 people in one night, created the conditions for the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki which were considered mere extensions of the firebombing tactics, says Daniel Ellsberg on Reality Asserts Itself with Paul Jay

  1. War mongers don't care who dies, they only care on winning at all cost of innocent lives, which fuel there evil carnage!

  2. The largest acts of terrorism ever are the nuclear strikes on Japan. Disagree? Look how many civilians were murdered.

  3. The Nazis didn't start the bombing of civilians. Hitler made the decision to engage in the ghastly practice only after the British had bombed Berlin seven straight days. Hitler gave a speech warning the British that if they did it one more time he would respond in kind. The British did it one more time.

  4. dresden burned a hell of a lot hotter! and you’re very likely listening to the second shooter; oswald was the first… this man is a cameleon
Edit: danny, danny, danny you know full well that the military does not build its own weapons – Civilians do!!!
that m.o.a.b, and daisy cutters (bu’s, blu’s) are conventional weapons. massive ordinance arial burst (newbies use air blast)
i was stationed at the home of peaceout_dave (sparkyblue)

  5. The United States is the greatest evil that has ever existed on the planet — it's almost always been run by psychopaths. Sick, twisted psychopaths. Anyone you vote for should be intelligent and knowledgeable about the world. We tend to vote for lawyers.

  6. I readily admit US policy has been brutal and unfair but what would Hitler, Mao or Stalin have done with the world if it were up to them?  I do believe we were the lesser of many evils but only God can decide that.  I sincerely regret the loss of life at our hands, especially innocent civilians.  I pray God forgives us.

  7. any brave and sane person wold have fought against nazism, but the german folk loved their leader, they provoked the wrath of the ussr and western allies by their obscene atrocities and determintion to make the world nazi dominated. they had to be stopped.

  8. Operation Gomorrah was not the largest act of terror. The Germans in Russia, or Yugoslavia was not picnic. Have you read the kill and destruction list from those campaigns?

  9. The great Lisbon earthquake from 1755 taught the Brits their strategy. Collapsed buildings created multiple fires throughout the city. And as they grew, they converged, creating a massive firestorm.

  10. firebombing a city like bomber harris firebombing the city of Dresden which seems to be forgotten right? but what I learned about ww2 is that it should never be repeated again!

  11. The United States went above and beyond (in the most evil way) in Vietnam in using napalm and literally frying people alive. The Viet Cong used small tunnels that they would crawl through to get into a better position to fight. When the American troops found these tunnels with soldiers still in them they would shoot flamethrowers into those tunnels. Imagine the horror. And then there is the Mi Lai massacre. Every American should be shown the documentary discussing this horrible act. There is no propaganda here as the events are described by American soldiers that participated or simply observed their own committing the most disgusting acts of inhumanity on others. This included raping young girls, machine gunning men, women, children.

  12. What I find horrific about this video is the narrator having the microphone so far in his mouth (I hope it's his mouth?) so that we can forensically hear every little movement and click of his tongue on saliva and mucous membrane. I've come across some really good videos that have been completely ruined by this forensic style of audio recording.

  13. A little correction. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not terrorism, but sadism. There was no political goal as required by the definition of terrorism. The cities were bombed just for fun, just like Osaka AFTER the emperor surrendered. The Americans knew from the bombing of Germany that terror bombing does not work and indeed stiffens the resistance, but they nevertheless continued bombing Japan and dropped the nukes. It would be giving them a lot of credit by calling the Americans terrorists, as if they did not know that terror bombing was ineffective. Sadism on the other hand fits much better. It is killing or torturing people or animals for pleasure and is a defining feature of psychopathy. To understand what the USA is about, you gotta look up the definitions of "sadism" and "antisocial personality disorder".

  14. The greatest act of terrorism in human history was the Nazi Capitalist invasion of the Soviet Union. These demons were hellbent on wiping out the Russian people and managed to kill over 30 million in spite of Russians pulling off the greatest military turnaround in human history.

  15. War before the first World War has around 10-20% civilian death, World War one then had around 50% World War two 70% and war after that are close to 90% civilian death. We moved from army fighting army to who ever can do more terror to the enemy will win.

  16. I sense too many bias of what he said. So we were committing terrorism during a war? Whaaaat? How did they even work?

War is not fought with feelings and lollipop. I have no sympathy for people here who simply can't get off Youtube and actually read a book for once

  17. nuclear apologists trying to convince us fukushima is not dangerous, have the laws of physics changed since I was at school? I doubt it so lets get the truth from TEPCO before it's too late

  18. The defenition of humanity referred to as a goodness and kindness and honoring each other
Looks like self proclaimed Christians nations have out done them selves so far!
