But there is one major problem for Pelosi, Sanders surrogates are just as popular as he is and the Sanders base is an angry base (71 percent dedicated support), given what happened in 2016. Note: Proof can be shown in the numbers of donations and volunteers to the Sanders campaign, often called the Ground Game.

19. Bill Fletcher neglects a major factor which will influence the vote: The Electoral College's nullification of the popular vote. That demonstrated that our votes are meaningless. My voting for Clinton wouldn't have changed a thing since she would still lose the election after winning the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes. The Democrats would be much better served had they spent the last 3-4 years addressing the internal problems in US elections instead of blaming the Russians, Trump, Republican Party, and pretty much everything EXCEPT the real factors that caused Trump to become president.
