The pandemics of racism and COVID-19 are a deadly mix – Everything Law and Order Blog

The U.S. response to the COVID-19 pandemic highlights deep racial inequities in wages, health, and vaccination rates—but it’s a century of racist public policy that laid the foundation for these disparities.

Dr. Lawrence Brown, author of “The Black Butterfly,” joins TRNN’s Jaisal Noor to discuss the disproportionate harm caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and argues that radical action is needed to address the current crisis and damage exacerbated by economic recessions.

  1. They JUST started vaccinating in Detroit (Wayne county) Michigan. 13% of the state has gotten vaccines. That reflects pretty much only whites until the last week.

  2. Do not get the vaccine. Bill Gates is depopulating the world. And hes the main guy behind the push for vaccines. DO NOT GET THE VACCINE!!!!

  3. In my opinion Dr. Cornell West should leave Harvard University and go to Howard University!! Also, Dr. West could try the University of Maryland or Johns Hopkins University where l graduated from. I pray to God that Dr. West will be a fully tenured professor!! Blessings to you Dr. West!!

  4. People of color…code for African Americans are disproportionately affected by Covid??? Data from the CDC says otherwise

  5. You mean, medical staff making housecalls? How eminently sensible, thereby guaranteeing it won't be done. Direct outreach is better, I agree.

  6. The vaccine is the cause not the cure. The virus is killing old persons it has nothing to do with this racism being pushed
