40. I am French and American, I have lived in the USA for 45 years with my American husband. I dislike certain things about the French, and one of them is their lack of understanding certain issues. President Macron is taking those economic measures because he has no choice! The money in the social security budget is just not there, and something has to be done.
    They don’t realize how easy they have it compared to us here. We don’t have large social security paychecks every month like in France, we don’t have four weeks paid vacations every year, and our healthcare is expensive and stressful to deal with economically.
