The doctors as the heroes? The doctors and the entire privatized medical industry here have been keeping supply low and protectionism high so that they could charge us insane prices we can't afford. That is why we don't have universal healthcare. Now we don't have enough hospital beds and ICUs and enough doctors because it was efficient enough for our privatized healthcare system. What most of them care about first and foremost is the money.
