The true price of coal – Everything Law and Order Blog

Over 1,000 union coal miners in Brookwood, Alabama, have been on strike since April 1. While industries around the world depend on the coal these workers pull out of the ground, few know the toll this work takes on them, their bodies, and their families.

  1. Is not only the coal mine workers rhe exploited.
Wall street monsters are drainning workers pocket in general wiith health insurance premiums on the skies

  2. Trying to convince people on how hard you work means that you don’t work hard at all and how dangerous your job is being a fucking break

  3. That funny
I hate to hear workers cry about the job if you don’t want to go down there then don’t do the job go work at Starbucks

  4. This is exactly what you guys deserve ever since the Europeans came here it is not been good over 500 peace treaties you guys at broken

  5. What you get think about how many times you guys have destroyed native land and lied to the natives stole their land murdered their people

  6. their real wages should have increased. 100 years ago coal was dug by hand by people who had never been to school or received any training. Now there are many more requirements since the miners are operating the machinery.

There are new uses for coal that will actually assist in cleaning up the environment, in addition to making the high quality steel that is needed in diverse industries e.g. surgical tools. Coal is going to be needed for the foreseeable future so it's not like this industry is just going to go away.

  7. the solution is m4a, shut down the coal mines and make them pay for the environmental damage. stop sending people a mile under the ground for energy that does not pay. they should all get jobs on solar. the true cost of coal is much more than all the money it ever produced. it has ruined workers, water, and whatever else. this has not even gotten a little better since ancient times.
