1st off lady, your not black in my opinion. 2nd the US has laws needs to be followed and most asylum seekers break those laws. 3rd why don't you move 100s of Haitians to your neighborhood and let's see how that works out for you. Oh and just to let you know I am black.

People seem to like the idea of freedom and opportunity, and since most of the countries around the world are ruled by unabashed tyrants, the USA is left with 2 choices. Choice one: control the immigration, choice two: take over the world so people will no longer have the desire to immigrate.

No country owes the citizens of another country admission, financial support or the opportunity to move in. Irrelevant what the law says. Stop making America nd Britain appealing and they'll eventually stop coming. I don't see them queing to invade Afghanistan or Bosnia or Barbados. This is economic upgrading. I don't blame them for trying, and I don't blame Britain or America for harshly rebuffing them.

Where is the Haitian person being interviewed? I lived in SoFlo for a number of years and on what seemed like a weekly basis boat loads of Haitian ppl were caught and sent back but it's the law ,just like wet foot dry foot for Cubans it's the law .Both laws sux but nobody had even tried to change the law don't side step it or try and bend it .
