The way they have the Department of Welfare setup once you get on welfare you are trapped within 10 days of getting a job you have to report it then they immediately take away all help which leaves you and your family high and dry with no money saved and no way to support the whole family it is a trap and they punish you for trying to better yourself !!!! If you do get a job you are usually driving a car you could only afford while on welfare which means it will break down for sure because you can't afford a nice car with the money you get when living on welfare and it's hard to get any help with everyone else trying to survive on the low pay and poor working conditions of today !

42. I am an American Black Woman with 2 children and I do not need food stamps or govt housing. Nothing feels like working and paying for my own housing and food. Thank God for education and self will. Lord help me as I help myself.
