Trump Threatens 15,000 Troops Amid Unprecedented Militarization of U.S.-Mexico Border

1. Send trump to the front lines, he'd make fantastic cannon fodder because so many people have lost their jobs thanks to his policies. 18. How come that not a single one of these (spineless?) generals gives more than a silent hint that he might not like this. It would just take one or a few of them to declare with strong words that they can not tolerate the use of the military for this road show. Trump tries to play this game to win the mid term elections for his side. He sends 15,000 troops only as way to “prove” that there is a present danger. Instead of proving the existence of a clear danger, he wants Americans to accept his crazy actions as a proof. He basically ordered his military parade, now not in Washington but at the border. The generals could make the case that it is an abuse and in violation to the purpose of the army to intervene in the political process. Because this is like a military parade with a partisan purpose.
    If there is no resistance in the armed forces against this he might push those show numbers even higher. He might even get what he wants and deform the composition of the caravan, because these open threats with an army 2-3 times their size against the refugees will mainly be a deterrent to those who had the most urgent reason to escape and who need protection the most, families with children. If they still continue, the next story from Trump might be “now they use their children as human shields.”
    Trump plays one card after the next out of the treasure trove of fascist tactics, and the most disturbing ones may not even be his original ideas, but whispered to him by the psychopaths he has on speed dial. The one part of the intention is to mobilise his support of course, the other to scare the left in believing that fascism is just around the corner, and to believe that Trump is actually preparing for committing atrocities, so that the left overreacts. The real dark knights, the Steve Bannon types, waiting in the shades are a small group of whisperers that want to bring everybody into a stampede. If we then see fascists everywhere the actual fascists have reached their goal, because than the average Joe feels compelled to make a decision to either go to one extreme or the other. That’s how they win majorities, by presenting themselves as the revolutionaries who defend the disenfranchised from the elite, because the left has too many ties to the elite.
