19. The whole impeachment thing is a distraction and a farce from the bi-partisan consensus to go into full-scale war in Yemen and possibly Iran over protecting Saudi oil. It's a strategy by the Democrat establishment to install a corporate Democrat as the nominee for the general election while instituting a total media blackout on the discussion of the actual ISSUES, like Medicare for All, that have been dominating the media cycles and building consensus among voters. If the Dems were serious about impeaching Trump they would do it based on his war crimes and violations of the emoluments clause. But they love war, and they don't want to really impeach him or they would not choose issues in which the party is complicit and has had every bit as much corruption- namely, Ukraine, Russia, and election-rigging. This is a revenge ploy because Trump went against one of their own. Ultimately, they don't care about his war crimes- since Democrats loooove war just as much as Republicans. They don't care about his corrupt business dealings, because they are every bit as corrupt in theirs- the Joe and Hunter Biden story being the latest and greatest example. If the Bidens weren't corrupt, there would never have been a reason for Trump to go to the Ukranian leader about them to begin with. The Democratic establishment knows they will ever succeed with this, it only makes them look like hypocrites, and it will never pass in the Senate. This is a ploy to stir up Democratic voters into a fearful frenzy and make them compliant sheep willing to vote for whatever corporate shill the DNC decides to shove down their throats in the general election. It won't work. And if it doesn't, the party doesn't care about that either. All day long and twice on Sunday, Pelosi and the other cronies running the Democrats would rather lose to Trump than win with Bernie Sanders. Just as it was true in 2016.

23. This is going to be political suicide for the Dems and another win for Trump . My question is why was there an active investigation in Ukraine into the criminal activities of Joe's son to begin with ? They just opened up a can of worms on this one and will regret it in 2020 . I know a lot of people who have been saying they just might vote for Trump just to send a message to the Dems because they're disgusted with them and especially after the scam in 2016 and their excuses for losing blaming the Russians etc but not accepting their own failures .
    To be clear there was a legal investigation into Hunter Biden by the Ukrainian government's prosecutor and not something to be taken lightly . Joe bullied their leader's and threatened to withhold money unless they fired that government official, which they did . I'm not a huge fan of Trump at all .In fact I despise the man but that doesn't mean that you can make up some garbage just to get rid of him . I see all these officials who are quoting the mainstream media and not directly from the transcript nor have they spoke to the whistleblower or even know who it is . This whistleblower has said that they heard this second hand and not directly . Even if you don't like a person you still have this little thing called the law and the promise of innocence until proven guilty .

And it will force Republicans who oppose impeachment to campaign with the stench of cowardice and failure to confront Trump's corruption following them.
