If you think the US had anything to do with this, you are very naive. 125K wouldn't pay for two American government employees to fly down there and spend a week. The US doesn't need to steal 125K, they owe 21 trillion, not 125K stolen from a large publicized charity event. This is just another example of why these charity fund raisers are almost always a waste of time and money, because the staff and the organizers almost always find a way to siphon off the money.
