4. Do not conflate every Jewish person in the world with the crimes that are being committed by the Apartheid state of Israel, the Zionist lobbies and the Goldmann Sachs banking cartels.
   A person can have a good heart and be Jewish at the same time.
   We can grieve for all those that are the victim of senseless hateful violence without taking into account their ethnicity.

Do I take the time to understand it? Yes. Do I take the time to understand how these people grow this mentality, and how after that thought, I'm left with a question: "When you storm around destroying innocence and murdering, do you not expect it to find it's way back to you?"

8. I love the way the members of the Pittsburgh synagogue have articulated the direct connection between white nationalism, Trump and anti-semitism. Our local rabbis here in Louisville, Kentucky held a community vigil today to remember the Jewish dead. An hour before the event, the Israeli Defense Forces killed three Palestinian kids. According to one report, the IDF fired on the ambulances attempting to save the children. The kids were dead on arrival. Our rabbis talked about gay rights and women's rights at the rally, but said not a word about the killings for which we are directly responsible.

   This is part of a national pattern. The Jewish Federation and related groups have opposed every effort by Jewish Voice for Peace — and, in fact, all human rights and religious groups — to advocate for peace with justice for Palestinians and Israelis, and have formed close alliances with virulently anti-semitic groups like Christians United for Israel . Why? Because only the radical right wing Christians support Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine. Only the most extreme Evangelicals are willing to countenance and even applaud Israel's periodic biblically-correct slaughters and land grabs.

   This week we see the first clear results for the Jewish community of the decision to appease Trump.
