  1. Great conversation, especially the covering of histories that many were not taught about, so can't make the connection
    to today's miseries. ( @CjDlll )

  2. That history of counterrevolution is the history of ethnocentric, monotheistic, ultra-nationalist human tribalism, specifically church-state tribalism, regaining political, economic, and cultural hegemony. The ubiquity of these historically and regionally distributed social movements illustrates the evolutionary biology and biological determinism of human tribalism manifest through church-state systems with its hierarchy of institutions spanning militarism, religion, politics, economics, and culture. The ubiquity of tribal causality and influence maintains continuity through the evolutionary psychology of authoritarian psychology representing the instincts of tribalism, manifest through ultra-nationalism, national exceptionalism, racism, xenophobia, sexism, misogyny, Theo-conservatism through a single favored national religion, obsession with security, defense, fairness, justice, loyalty, and preferring draconian punishments, including other traits such as one-ups-man-ship, believing winning is everything, believing they can win every fight, and solving problems quickly with violence. The only solution to the biological determinism of tribalism, church-state systems, and authoritarian psychology is performing a cognitive-based intervention that negates former momentum which is socially and environmentally unsustainable, and implementing a paradigm-shifting alternative mode of production that reverse engineers a sustainable Spaceship Earth through science-based systems-based eco-socialism.

  3. i thought WhiNa for White Nationalist was perhaps too derogatory, since it could be pronounced "whiner." so, it seemed Whytzi was a natural formation (the "y" being used to make proper pronunciation more likely,) having resonance with similar historical events. The word, "Whytzi," is so reminiscent of the the word, "Nazi" that the parallel is drawn whenever pronounced out loud. So, my question is: if i can walk around saying NAZI out loud, why do i feel afraid to say WHYTZI in the presence of my fellow Americans?

  4. The black community will play a significant role in tearing down white supremacy along with the savagery and barbarism that accompanies it. The black community requires reparations and tangibles. This would be a major step towards destroying the racial wealth Gap which supports white supremacy in America. Or we can deal with another 20 more years of mass shootings like El Paso.

  5. THIS GENERATION , HAS A WONDERFUL GIFT 🎁 .[ THE TECHNOLOGY OF THE CELL PHONES 📱] .!!!!!! . IF , U WOULD TAKE A SUNDAY ,TO CHEEK OUT HISTORY . OR THE BIBLE & POLITICS , 📚📖📚…. 6. Forget it. Trump is making White Supremacist great again and this time they are coming in much stronger and tougher. This group of hate will continue to haunt everyone since the day they grown up among them! They are around us either way!

  7. I used to feel bad about the slaughter of the native Americans but then I learned how native Americans were slave holders and slave catchers I understood how Buffalo soldiers helped commit genocide against them like in the name of US imperialism.

  8. WHAT WE CAN LEARN FROM IT; THAT THIS "DEMONIC TERRORIST STUPIDITY" STILL EXIST IN 2019!!

FOR THOSE JACKASSES THAT SAY RACISM DOESN'T EXIST TODAY; YOU'RE A DAMN FOOL, AND I'M QUITE SURE YOU'RE THE BIGOTED RACIST THAT SAYS TO YOURSELF, "I DON'T SEE COLOR; FOR WHICH YOU SOUND STUPID IN SAYING IT."

  9. 63 million supporting Trump.😱😱 Trump has brought out the real numbers of people that have been hiding their true conservative feelings and emotions in the "rise" of white supremacy.

  10. 'This is just absolutely superb!

I didn't know (though I can't say it really surprises me that much) about the reason for the succession from Mexico by Austin and Houston (though — of course — we'd all learned about their "heroics" in the Alamo when we were growing up); and that this reason was that Mexico was about to abolish slavery, which would have forced Sam Houston and Mr. Austin to release their slaves, which they obviously didn't want to do.

Likewise (among many other excellent points) I love where he points out something that I have often brought up myself — and which is much more obvious: the fact that the US government in the Civil War was liberating the slaves in the South even as it simultaneously waged genocidal wars against the Native Americans. In addition, there is an excellent film narrated by James Earl Jones about how there were some Cherokee in the South who had owned black slaves, but who were eventually destroyed by the whites who — as I recall — were forced to leave on the Trail of Tears, or just murdered. (I believe that this film was sold by Southwest Indian Children's Fund)

And Dr. Horne thus brings up those many things that are bothering others, like Cornel West, Noam Chomsky, Jill Stein, Tulsi Gabbard and just regular people like myself — and brings up the absurdity of trying to go into two different directions at once, and which is still plaguing the Democratic Party. Absolutely wonderful! A million cheers!

  11. Archbishop Desmond Tutu was a guest of honour at a Conference I was lucky enough to attend. I think it was the next year when President Mandela was freed. We need to find the strength we had back then.

  12. It was trade union support that propelled the anti-apartheid campaigns on and on. Nelson Mandela was a wonderful man whose life should serve as an example to those who would attempt to chain up all of us, black and white. Stay strong. Question More.

  13. We can learn that they can get us to support anything by saying the other side is racist.🤷🏾‍♂️

  14. Honestly, really sad to see it talked about this way. What it really comes down to, is a systemic problem. It's a sort of social psychological disease or sickness. Many people aren't educated on how they are oppressed and therefore, have no idea why they feel the sort of depression and isolation that they do. So the racism, bigotry, and overall negative attitude towards any people or groups that have a different line of thinking is a copeing mechanism. People backed into a corner financially and socially will sometimes break from the pressures of oppression, resulting in violent outbursts. This could attribute to why the US has the highest number of mass shootings among any other country, by far. The fact remains that an oppressed population under the control of an oligarchic, plutocracy such as we have with this Empire, The Not So United States. You will find that the SYSTEM pits one demographic against the other (left vs. right) and when the people argue amongst themselves instead of arguing against the real corrupt nature of Empire you allow Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to TAKE THE SAME BRIBES. Meanwhile, the real decision-makers, the people who own the country, laugh at top in a system that legally let's them buy elections and make you a non contributor. Its such a small number of people that control a huge percentage of GDP, that millions of Americans are left to manage with a tiny percentage of the GDP. In effect, our economic input means nothing. That is why it's really sad to see an argument of left and right versus an argument against our current social psychology of depression and oppression. It's not about left and right, its deeper, it's about sustainability and social wellbeing. This system, worked, now it doesn't. Extremism is dangerous Period. Left or right. And it needs to be understood as an outcome of a system than needed slavery to fill labor shortages. Technology is our salvation with communication and this SYSTEM will be our end. Racial equality can only be achieved by understanding it as a systematic outcome.

  15. We POC have endured the terrorism from insecure white people for centuries. It's about time the terrorism is called out, because our system has ignored this problem for mere capitalistic reasons!

  16. the wrong question – every tribe must make own experiences – intervention brings endless desaster…
and again framed by the we kiss the ring of the agenda 2030…
lead all behind the trees – wash your hands…

  17. Pro. Gerald Horne, YOU set there for nearly 30mins babbling dodging and evading concrete solutions. You’re a pest to—-the revolutionary spirit —America loves you—.

  18. Huh – I guess repel the invaders. Why didn’t native people invade Europe? They did war against each other. Why did history play out as it did? Why didn’t dinosaurs land on the Moon over their 100 million year history?

  19. More people have gotta hear the words of Prof. Gerald Horne if we ever hope to see this stop. People can't get anywhere if they can't even admit to themselves that they're lost. Can't make a better self if ya won't admit who you've been. The US population can't keep clinging from this mythology. The US is a nation born in genocide, built up with slavery, maintained through imperialism and plunder, foreign and domestic and informed by white supremacy, patriarchy, xenophobia, western chauvinism, cishetero normativity and mythology. Gotta face that first.

  20. The simple lesson we learn from history is that we're all screwed, because it's just way too easy for humans to be stupid, ignorant and hateful. It doesn't end well.

  21. The professor nails it for me with his “ settler colonialism.” The thing is most white liberals may as well be farting with their so called resistance, cause ain’t none of them gonna give up an iota of their comfort for the cause. Settler Colonialism rebukes them most succinctly.

  22. It's no secret that the CIA is running covert psychological operations (psyops) in countries such as Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Hong Kong, etc designed to destabilize the economy, society, and government. And yes, you can be sure it's also running psyops here in American society as well. These operations are behind much of the civil unrest, riots, racial division, Islamophobia, hate crimes, false flags, etc that we are experiencing today. The CIA wants to keep us fighting among ourselves to keep us distracted because an awakened, informed, and united American populace represents the greatest threat to the organized crime syndicate that passes for our government. So, wake up to the real danger people, stop believing the MSM propaganda, and for God's sake, STOP THE HATING! We are being played like a cheap fiddle.

The El Paso shooting looks like another false flag. At least two eyewitnesses, who were standing in line at checkout, said they saw a group of 3 to 4 men, moving as a group, come rushing past them into the store. The men were wearing all black and carrying long guns and then they started shooting. If we don't hear about the surveillance video evidence, which should tell the whole story, it will be a another solid indication that this is a false flag. The guy who was arrested is the patsy and I expect he will be suicided in prison.

  23. Prof Gerald Horne doesn't mention that the KKK Democrats created the current mass Incarceration system against Black Americans. And that Mexicans and Mexican-American Democrats in Military City USA – San Antonio, Texas. Would consider his knowledge of history would be labeled Racist. Nor that I have never seen Mexicans nor Mexican-Americans protesting or crying when their Latino police officers shoot kill Black men and women. In summary Prof Gerald Horne is full of shit teaching at UT Houston, Texas too dam long.

  24. I'm old enough to remember when the Black Panthers (BP) were speaking out against the same things which were in response to what was going on in the black communities ..but we all know what happened with that movement. The media demonized the BP. This country was built on cast groups, where whites, just as poor a blacks were pitted in the illusion of social class-ism. When blacks speak-up, stand-up, social elite groups supposedly speaking for all whites felt threatened, when in fact, the common black an white with a degree of intelligence understood and recognized illusion of created separation, understanding class-ism had no color lines. But yes, people of color bore the brunt of class-ism.

  25. Stop the Huwhite Gun Violence is like 2% Nobody cares about any other violence that's what it comes down to!
