  1. "Prime minister who tried to run the country like his business…" Cheers from Finland, we just had such Prime minister who advertised himself as such. His government tried to privatize health care and roads, cut the education funds and made pacts with NATO (of which Finland is not a meber of)… and faced massive criticsm and discontent from the people and his government had to resign, as politicians noticed their support disappearing and they had to start fight inside the government.

  2. Good interview and love the main subject is interviewed in his kitchen — not exactly the slick CNN etc. with cardboard cut-outs in super-lit up studios. This interview style is so much easier to handle than the rigid, brittle style before of Paul Jaye.

  3. Thing is most people are so disillusioned from the past, they don't bother to vote at all.
Even if we voted somebody decent into any position of power sooner or later he/she will either take a bribe in some form – from this moment on the old guard have their hooks and this person will not try to do any change whatsoever or his life will be ruined by these gatekeepers.
Or he/she doesn't take a bribe – which will make this person very unpopular. Powerful people will do anything to make this person life as miserable as possible so this person either leaves the politics or brakes and takes said bribe.
When Andrej Zloděj Babiš came, he promised big changes. And some people believed him, some where just too tired from their own daily struggles to look up and read what all he has access to and how it could be conflict of interests
Or some folk were just naive to believe him because (and i am not making this up) "he is such a nice man, he gave us donuts"

People here are just fed up. living standard is a laugh compared to neighboring countries. On average we take like 1/3 of average west european salaries while having similar prices.
So there it is most of us don't bother because nothing ever changes. And those that do, vote like Stockholm syndrome victims.

  4. When businessmen say they'll run the country like a business, believe them. They'll run it like their own businesses and in their own interests, just like they've always done, whether it's incompetently and criminally like Trump or more successfully but still criminally like this guy, others and still more wannabes (UK conservatives like Rees Mogg and accomplices). And yes, the CIA and US 'interests' won't be far behind or indeed in the forefront if they can work with the local country's greediest and most immoral elements.

  5. Nice but one thing about Hungary is important. There is not any exposure to migrants of Hungary, none of migrants wants to stay in Hungary, all wants only to pass to germany. But Hungary is fascist people which was 100% fascist in WWII, then pacified by russians (democratic uprising 1956?? no it was fascist uprising) from '91 state with criminals on the top of politics, street gangsters who become billionaires and top politicians. And they need fascism again to smoothly rule their crime without attention on them. So, foreigners , muslims, migrants, great threat from outside is perfect to rise again fascist mentality and fascist way of thinking which make them safe.

  6. All wars began when imposed on Israel in the Middle East
The USA regime attached 18 countries from 1980 years, the US has been ruined the most important political result of the 21 century, The USA regime sends aircrafts nuclear carrier to treaties Iran and normal countries and prohibited any countries deal with Iran*The USA regime attached oil performances, commercial ship, and Airbus Iran in 1988, and invasion several with UAV The USA regime genocides 85 million Iranian with the sanction and 5 million Iranian immigrated to Europe escalate sanction mean huge immigrate to Europe“The Persian Gulf has been with Iran in during 7000 Year without happening”

  7. Here is food for thought in the form of a quotation on general principles of manipulation of democracies by elected leaders whereby they can create an authoritarian "democracy":

"Four things you need for authoritarianism to flourish in a democracy:
    1. A coercive mechanism (secret police, lockstep self-censoring media, youth indoctrination education).
    2. Revenue stream (oil, diamonds, gas).
    3. Control over opportunity (state employment, gov contracts, nationalized industry).
    4. A deep well of stories (enemies, grievances, national glory).
Of the four, stories are the most important." – Stephen Kotkin (geopolitics scholar, author).

  8. Looks like classic "inverted totalitarianism." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverted_totalitarianism
The super rich gain the positions of government via democratic election, and while they present a picture of operating a democracy, they actually plan and follow through on both policy, & issue management in a way that is designed to do for the investment class. Highly concentrated money operates the democracy, it co-opts the politics via controlling donations to political campaigns, trading support for issue management. So for instance in the US the so called liberal Democrat party does not demand universal health care, not because it would not work, but because the big money in healthcare industry is against it.

  9. Prof. Petr Just says the reason is: "… lots of reasons … would be for dissertation." Thanks prof, you really clarify things.

  10. Who is BEHIND this? We can infer that, (among other forces), US intelligence Psy-Ops activity is stirring the kettle.

  11. Why aren't Andrej Babis and Donald Trump best buds? Both show the hazards of giving political leaders immunity.
