20 thoughts on “What’s Being Done To Prevent Deaths in Detention Centers, Prisons?”
  1. Hi RLN, the iconografic image of Anne Frank through the 19:50 minute mark, with the correcting text is somewhat part of a rightwing mantra in german neo circles or at least has been. It basically negates the aspect "of murder" in her death and tries in revisioning it ,to point to the fact that the public is mislead and that her death is in the same time deminished to a man-slauter by the way. In the hardcore opinions of nazi apologists not even that, because "typhus was justa thing" back then.

  2. Some people are detained simply bc they’re POOR…
Please people, don’t forget the vulnerable. The homeless, prisoners, ICE detainees, and retired travelers are at risk of losing everything. We discuss this and our personal struggle in our video

  3. Don't release them quarantine them in their own cell blocks test them and remove the sick ones from the ones that aren't sick don't release them! These men and women have anger in their blood for being incarcerated they'll do more harm than good out in the streets with the people. There's already enough criminals walking the streets that have not been incarcerated the'll hook up together and become notorious to the People home invasions, murders, rapist, and the spread of the virus to those who don't have it and only cause more problems for the people, than they've already have in their communities!

  4. genocide would certainly be a pretty clear cut descriptor of what would be happening to people in the Ice facilities.

as for prisons they aught to free as many people as humanly possible… though that could be hard to do with the courts like out of commission…

  5. These men and women, did their crimes, knowing very well the circumstances and consequences behind their actions… they cost the taxpayers millions to house them each and every year it's going to cost them more to medicate them due to the circumstance of his virus.

  6. I bet the prison industrial complex wants people to die in prison so they can just fill them up again. 💰💰💰

  7. The country and society are in need of new, just, humane foundation, principles and guidelines, both nationally and internationally:
A/ set free all prisoners, who are locked up for non-violent, civil-administrative charges (beginning with and including drug-related offences); old and sick inmates; prisoners, whose trial and sentencing were unconvincing, twisted, doubtful, …
B/ Abide by international law; lift all US ideological, unilateral, arbitrary, unlawful and inhumane sanctions; respect the sovereignty of and cooperate with all countries; help where you can and intervene only upon UN mandate and/or if and when officially asked for by the lawful, legitimate government of a given country.
C/ Cut that insanely huge budget for the military, weapons, conflicts and wars of choice; invest instead in people and country, in agriculture and farming, sciences and research: decent healthcare, clean air and drinking water, dignified care for senior citizens and veterans, housing for all, good and affordable (if not free, as it should actually be) education, fair salaries, good roads and reliable bridges, healthy environment, …

  8. Hey there, greetings from Canada in this difficult time. Unfortunately, most people don’t care, they have no empathy and have dehumanized the prison population even though a large percentage of that population are victims of the system.

  9. Make the destruction of the west complete, free all prisoners. Gangs, rape, murder, guerilla warfare. What are we waiting for!

  10. This is very similar to the 1918-1919 Spanish Flu. The people that were close together (for whatever reason) were the ones that got it. The ones that stayed away from everybody (in most cases) did not get this flu. San Francisco managed to evade the 2nd wave in 1918-19, and almost nobody got it. This 2nd wave was by far the deadliest of the three waves.

  11. As someone who has spent only 6 months of their life incarcerated I can’t imagine decades, that’s crazy! What kills me is having my door broken in with a battering ram, police forcing themselves into my house screaming with guns drawn on me (I was 8 months pregnant) my severely disabled step-son, and my husband to wake us out of a dead sleep to haphazardly throw everything we own around our house, break shit with no financial liability, and trample all over what should of been the best time of my life because they claim they have a better path for all of us to follow. I’m still waiting for this intervention to do anything better for me, it did everything they told me the drugs would do in school. They found my post-baby stash! I always thought drugs were going to kill me, it turns out it’s actually going to be coexisting with so many people who don’t give a damn about the prison population, it’s a damn tragedy. The system is either way too punitive or not nearly enough, but it’s never fairly balanced and it’s the most hopeless time in any person’s life that is unfortunate to find themselves there one day
