  1. Keep doing this and you will discover how patriot can brasilians be. Take your place shity left, you don't have the power you used to have anymore. This suporting Lula are nothing more then a weak minded and crazy minority leaded and blinded by the worst party ever seen in the world, responsible by the worst coruption scandal of the world.

  2. Well, there is nothing real about this news. Bolsonaro was elected by the majority of population in a democratric process : election. Lula is in jail for the biggest scheme of corruption, which led the country to a massive economic crisis. Bolsonaro is a conservative, not extreme right … I really can't correct all this fallacies said in this video. Gosh …

  6. Lula and PT are criminals!!!! The wrost!!!! Shame! 60k people die in a year on PT rule , given more laws to protect the scum bags of society and punishment the cops! And everything that is not left side they say are extreme right or fascism!!

  7. So the situation is this:
Dumb persons think Lula is inocent, they are ignorant people that don't count the inumerous corruption scandals abouth him

  8. Far away from being precise, I should say. Bolsonaro never trully said he would wipe left from Brazil. He will do, and already started, a cleaning inside government staff, just because our politicians used to corrupt public jobs to gain power. They used gov resources to distribute money among their supporters, and all who pay taxes just get fucked for 20 years nonstop.

Btw, you made Bolsonaro look like a ditactor while his major proposal is to turn Brazil into a liberal economy.

  9. As a brazillian myself, I must say this turn of events is terrible for our country. Any government-military relations have been severely damaging to our country since the very first Republic, and I can assure this Pinochet-like government will bring a lot more disaster than any potential good. This is a populist ex-military pretending to be alienated from traditional government, yet most people don’t realize he represents what has been ingrained in the brazillian government since the very beggining. There’s a reason why he is considered conservative.

However, I believe this news report and this channel in general (from what I’ve seen) to be severely biased. Just because those opinions more often than not align with mine, doesn’t mean I won’t be calling you out for it. This channel presents well researched, knowingly biased news to its audience. I generally do not have a problem with biased journalism (as unbiased journalism does not exist), but this does not show the minimum of efforts to give the opposition a voice. This political disparity is the main reason such a disaster is happening in Brazil, and why more sensible (left, center AND right) parties weren’t able to stop the wave of extremism that took our country into a horrible future.

tl;dr Biased journalism becomes a problem when it’s done under the pretense that it’s “real” or “more real than others”, something expressed in the very title of this network.

  10. In support of freedom for Lula: the UN, the National Constitution, Pope Francis, Nobel Laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, Pepe Mujica, Rafael Correa, Danny Glover, Noam Chomsky, Oliver Stone, Judge Rogério Favreto, Supreme Court Justice Marco Aurélio Mello, politicians, celebrities, journalists and lawyers all over the world, millions of Brazilian citizens and the list goes on and on.
Those in support of Lula's freedom, know he's a political prisoner. His 'mistake' was being a part of the pink tide in Latin America, when democracy was finally taking roots in the continent, while the empire was too busy with its bloody invasion of Iraq and forgot about its 'backyard', as John Kerry calls the south western hemisphere.
With the pink tide being replaced with neoliberal puppets, such as tropical Trump in Brazil, the 'backyard' is now open to exploitation of workers and natural resources, the corporations will be exempt of taxes, free of regulations protecting workers and the environment, rife with human rights violations and no accountability for the disastrous consequences that will follow.

  11. Don’t worry about the comments at the Presidents’s side… We are only waiting the bomb explode but still waiting that everything end up right

  12. Your video is 100% fake news and its a shame youtube runs it as an ad

There was never a dictatorship in Brazil, the population that went to see him on january 1st was the highest one ever, it set a new record

There was never any violence coming from him or his supporters, the left on the other hand went on a rampage and even manage to stab him during his campaign and almost killed him

  13. I must tell all already that the people that are saying this all fake, are liars since they are in favor for Bolsonaro. Unfortunately, our situation is more difficult than that. Lula should remain in prison, that's no lie. His government has been good with him on power, but he did steal from the people. So, no need for him to leave prison. Bolsonaro is the type where he thinks he is the God and the people who follows him are sheeps. Both are a disgrace for this country.
Yet, Bolsonaro in just five days in power he already made horrible decisions. After many years, our country is going back to the edge of military time. I must say that things do not look bright and fear is a thing we have all the time now. He took of the LGBT people from the human's rights and took the lands of native, and much more.
He put on power people who stole, but he claims they are ''good people''. Bolsarano already stole millions of the people in those five days.
So, yeah, this is basically the resume of everything.

  14. You guys did a very terrible job at searching what is truly happening here
Stop defending the left in such a manner and DON'T YOU DARE say lula is in jail for a controversy, there's hundreds of proofs against him
Do us favor shut your mouth when talking about our politics

  15. Lula is nothing but a criminal. Here, in Brazil, he is called "Dad's corruption" because he participated in the largest corruption case in the history of our country. It's such a shame that so many people supporting him. However, this video is full of lies and misunderstanding about brazilian politics.

  16. you guys are very misinformed about bolsonaro's stances but whatever i would not expect a detailed and truthfull analysis from the left into someone they despise. it is a shame how superficial are the media's views on brazil's current state.
    EDIT – (from the left)

  17. before talking shit, you should come to brazil to learn a little bit :3

just kidding you know what you're talking about, of course you do, but you disagree and make your opinion seem like the truth, this is disgusting and is what we brazillians have been forced to swallow for the entire 21st century, please, stop throwing the same shit to the outside without even having a single idea of how failed and disgusting the socialist parties are in brazil.
this is not about loving or hating bolsonaro, and it is not about socialism, since i myself am not totally against socialism, it is about you making bolsonaro a villain and lula a kind of hero, they're both humans and are not perfect, that's our mistake, to think of lula and bolsonaro as some kind of gods, but unlike lula, bolsonaro didn't steal public money, he didn't make part of mensalão and he didn't fuck our politics with useless programs and doctrination on schools.

so yea that is my message <3 i'd love to ignore the hate down below as well, feel free to call me whatever you want, THIS are the real fucking news

  18. There is a lot of misinformation in this video. It's not true that "the people claim that Lula was falsely accused and condemned to prevent him from disputing the elections", in fact, a minor share of the population actually believes in that.
Lula has been surrounded by corruption scandals since 2008, and has been judged many times since that. One of the most famous was "Mensalão", in which he was accused of leading a corruption scheme that paid deputies to vote for the approval or denial of certain political projects. He got away many times due to "lack of proof" and many people started to think that he was being protected by the Supreme Court, since many of the members of it were indicated by Lula himself. Finally, in 2017 he was deemed guilty for concealment of property. It was similar to Alcaponi, where many believed he was a mob chief, but were only able to arrest him due to tax evasion.

Bolsonaro IS a right-wing extremist but I believe he is far from being truly autoritharian. Most people can't even say properly what he truly believes in and what he really wants to do once in charge of the country. He is just a reactionary, a guy who was there, screaming things from the top of his head and eventually he was heard. And people were as upset as him, that's why he got so strong. Yes, many things he says are inadequate for the political environment, which is supposed to be polite, reasonable and inclusive, but I doubt that he truly means half of what he says. In fact, some times it seems that he doesn't have a clue of what he's talking about, he even became a meme during elections due to that, similar to the past elected president, Mrs. Dilma.

For now, future is a haze, I emphasize that it's hard to tell what Bolsonaro really wants to do and even how he wants to do it. Videos like this one that only push a narrative, shade things even more instead of clarifying them, and are as reactionary as Bolsonaro himself is.

Either way, thanks for giving some attention to our country, in such a moment, we deserve it.

  19. Hello, I'm Brazilian, many lies were said in this video, 2019 means a lot for us, we're free now, for 13 years we were subjugated by a political elite headed by Lula who threw us misery and hunger, stole our money and sold our natural riches , Finally it's over!
May Lula rot in jail !!!
