  1. Did you notice how much IDF and settlers are Causing the crisis in Gaza and how much aid was cut from Palestinians recently? Have you heard about Israel cutting off Palestinians from making a profit from oil on their own land and the destruction of Palestinian olive trees at harvest time? Could that have anything to do with it?

  2. The Greenhouse Project after israeli troop repositioning 2005 is a perfect example of the difficulties in investing and donating under israeli occupation. The israeli hasbara will have it that it was palestinian militants who destroyed them, but the truth was that most greenhouses not dismantled by the settlers themselves were left more or less intact. Investors were then ready to put large sums of money in order to make the greenhouses into a lucrative business. It sadly turned out that the israeli closure politics made it impossible and fruit, vegetables and flowers ready for export were instead rotting at the border waiting for clearance.

  3. This deal is analogous to a man, (Isreal), rapes a woman (Palestine) and kills her child.
Then offers to pay for her torn dress and calls it even. WTF!!?
They are not DONORS, they are INVESTORS, they expect a return one way or another!

  4. Send the Jews down to South Florida where their friends live and the Palestinians will prosper and the U.S.A. will save a few hundred billion dollars a year on the phoney war on terror ha ha ha ha …

  5. Every time I see Kushner, all I can think about is what would happen if Howdy Doody met the blue fairy from the Pinocchio story…

  6. "Prosperity is not given to somebody, Prosperity is earned." Then explain Israel who prosperity require billions of aid from US and Europe.

  7. Historically It's not effective because Israel doesn't want it to be effective. If it where are allowed to be effective, Israel wouldn't be able to control them.

  8. Palestine natives have been disowned, surely due to their being 95% uneducated laboring-class, actually 95% of the working poor. Conversely, the reason Israel is so beloved by the Western powers, is the prosperity Israel has due to it having the highest percentage of genus rich and highly skilled middle-class of any nation on earth.

  9. I'm not sure they answered the question posed in the headline. Basically, it's very hard to have meaningful investment when infrastructure projects are scheduled to be bombed or torn down by the Israelis every couple of years. The speakers alluded to the problem of the Occupation, but it goes even further than that one brutal factor. Israel does not accept the right of Palestinians to have anything. That position covers material development, state structures, and elemental freedoms. Taken as a whole, Israel's attitude amounts to intentional genocide. And any path that doesn't acknowledge that reality will prove, quite literally, to be a dead end.

  10. Palestinians having to "coordinate security" with Israel which bombs them to the point every year their google earth image shows FAR, FAR more damage than Israel. The fastest moving genocide on earth, on some years. OF COURSE economy isn't going to help much as they're permanently losing relatives and assets to BOMBING!!!

  11. Why doesn't someone use the aid money to buy, say, Gaza and give it to the Palestinians?

And bullshit, Kushner, you didn't earn your wealth, you lying poor-shaming piece of crap.

  12. "Prosperity is not something that is given to people" says the man who got his money from his rich family, married to a woman who got her money from her father, who got his money from his father.

  13. At this point, it's either Israel or Palestine that gets all the territory in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Which inadvertently boils down to whether or not a conflict will breakout between the US and Iran.
