  1. Wrong fight. We need to reverse the deforestation to stop climate change. Human activity doesn't account for much of the global gross greenhouse gas emissions, we are however annihilating at a break neck pace through poisoning and burning of the forests, which is what is causing the gross increase in greenhouse gassing in the atmosphere. You need to be fighting mainly the big evil nasty nazi led chemical companies that are poisoning the forests and really driving catastrophic climate change or this won't be stopped.

  2. Americans need to get rid of the Grown Up Kids in the Congress, Senate & the White House and get some Five Year Old Kids to Run the Nation. they will do a better Bipartisan Job.

  3. Why would the corporate Democrats do anything different from what they've BEEN doing? The people who've rubber-stamped everything Trump has proposed, and voted to accept fossil-fuel money, are suddenly going to give a damn about the public weal? (And why does no one remember that a Democrat-controlled House and Senate gave Ronald Reagan nearly everything HE wanted for 8 years too?) A couple of progressive wins aren't going to change who, as a party, they are. And Pelosi – their chief fund-raiser, almost certain to be Speaker – has promised to institute "Pay-Go." Nothing will change, except that the party will now pile on additional stifling and suppression of any and all progressive intent.

  4. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔how about we just hit the reset button 🤷🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

  5. Janet appears to have her eyes closed because she says "we need to articulate what happens when we start taking climate change [solutions] seriously". Someone needs to "articulate" to her the disaster going on right now in Germany, the climate champions leader, over "Energiewende ". Na, on second thought "there are none so blind as those who will not see".

The significance of the house flipping is that the red tyrannical snake was bitten by the blue tyrannical snake and we were all entertained and left with the feeling we have some control. The red snake has some wounds to lick, but the snake pit is still alive and well and none of the snakes in it give a s**t what is good for anyone but themselves. So nothing will change except for maybe some new blue window dressing.

  6. In response to the headline, no, of course it won't. The Democrats are no more for clean energy than the Republicans are. Oh, sure, they are in theory and in rhetoric, but let's face it: when the chips are down, they govern based on what their donors want, and their donors include the military, big oil and big coal, none of which have any interest in clean energy.

  7. Hypothetically democratic party could get behind something bipartisan such as revenue neutral carbon fee and dividend. Instead of pushing wedges for political gain.
