  1. Sucks to become a participant we must pay ,,pay you to be involved, like, watch, spread ur word ,advertise basically for free to share your info even ,,makes me do the exact opposite

  2. It would depend on if people believed that the government had become tyrannical at which point the true purpose of the second amendment is found for the resistance against a tyrannical government

  3. A citizen's vote is his most powerful right. It is the only way we control the government and it's decisions.
Being aware of the background of the candidates you choose and how their record has affected our country is more important than owning a firearm and knowing how to use it.
Beware of those who would take your voting right away or dilute it by handing it freely to non citizens. A gun will let you die with your pride. A strong , voting citizenry will let you live with it.
Guns are essential to keep outside invaders at bay, but an educated voter is the strength of our society.

  4. mike the second amend …was laid out as a citizen can hold and own any weapon the a basic infantry troop can have… time and tech was not a part of it,,,,tanks are not basic infantry troop issued gear… this is the real law of the land …constitution correct ,,,,,,any weapon a basic infantry troop can own is under the 2nd ,,,k

  5. my husband worked the detroit underwear bomber trial so are we ok to ban underwear ??? he was shocked the while d/t area was a ghost town around the fed court house on that day .. 3 people were in the motor city bar and grill a block from that court house he took pictures to show me the whole area was a no go zone..

  6. they banned all black backpacks in downtown boston after the k10 bomb … was a backpack an arrestable offence ??? hey just an honest question ???

  7. mike is common sense 99% of the time … michigan is pretty proud of him not perfect but darn good … we got your back in my area mike … by the way my second youngest grandson is named mike k nuff said

  8. So, it’s more the 4th amendment that’s being infringed upon, taking your possessions and putting them “in plain view”. In plain view is one of the exceptions to the 4th and not allowing you to have an opaque backpack forces you into that exception. That being said, I believe that if we can restrict rights in the interest of safety then there is no problem with this policy, and if not then we can’t have gun control in the interest of public safety either.

  9. I was told in high school that minors at school didn't exactly have Freedom of Speech because we werent adults. So we didnt have rights. I always thought the teacher was crazy so i never pressed the issue lol

  10. I think I have a fix for all these people who want to take your rights away take every right away when you say you can't have a gun there you can't have free speech there you can't have the 13th Amendment there can't have the 7th Amendment there can't have the fifth you can't have the 4th and and just make it so it's a rights free area so that should fix this problem of well I want more rights in my first but if I have less on that second

  11. Hogg is nothing more than a privileged, spoiled brat. He and Emma Gonzalez both bullied the Parkland shooter. Guess they were exercising their 2A right.

  12. It was the states that demanded a Bill of Rights. Some of the framers opposed the idea. What should be most important is liberty. If an amendment is ratified that infringes liberty, it should be ignored. Just as the unconstitutional federal laws that exist now, like drug laws and gun regulations.

  13. I see people saying that the 2nd amendment can’t be repealed and it was granted by god. I agree with the second part. Every amendment can be taken away though. Now that being said it will be a cold day in hell before that happens. But what is happening is little things. Like banning certain magazine capacities, credit card companies banning sales of “assault weapons,” stores that stop selling firearms, etc. The left will just keep picking away little by little. Right now they are restricting the 1st amendment. They are banning conservatives, the IRS was targeting them. Just because something is wrong in your eyes doesn’t mean someone needs to stop saying it. I’m sure most of us will agree the KKK is horrible but they should still have the right to peacefully protest. Just like BLM should also be able to peacefully protest. The coffee shop in Oakland not serving cops is ok but the bakers that didn’t want to bake a cake because of religious views isn’t? Where do we draw the line. If a private business says they don’t want to serve you then they don’t have to simply go somewhere else. Making a scene isn’t the answer. If I go into a Starbucks and I’m told I can’t use the bathroom because I didn’t buy anything that’s their business. Not to mention I’m white. I would get laughed at if I said it’s racist to kick me out. The double standard in this country is out of control. It’s 2018 if you want to do something get off your ass and do it. This younger generation needs to be taught that life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. You get kicked while your down constantly. But that’s life get over it. No matter if you’re gay or straight man or woman black or white you can do whatever you want. Nobody is holding you down except yourself. Identify politics will be the downfall of this great country. We are the only country that the freedom to say whatever you want is allowed. As of right now we can’t be jailed for “hate speech” even though the left desperately wants that. We are the only country that the right to bear arms is reasserted in the constitution. Once we give up any of our rights to the government where will it stop? Like Lord Acton said power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  14. Will you arrest someone you catch with a unregistered, concealed handgun? If yes, then you sold yourself out to the state. "The Constitution trumps everything". If you have arrested anyone for this, you are guilty of treason.

  15. How the left calls the NRA child murders is because facts don't matter. If they feel something it is fact. Nothing about liberalism is logical but Conservatives can't understand why they think as they do because we base all of our thoughts in logic and reality.

  16. 1) Technically it doesn't violate any rights because we're talking about minors.

    2) It WOULD violate 4th amendment (general search warrant)

  17. Statistically studies have shown that in majority white areas, The police do contact, arrest and ticket minorities at higher rates than whites. So it is not a stretch to think that more police in the school will have a negative result for the minority students. We can discuss the reasons why LEOs police minorities more than whites. Not all the reasons are overt or biased racism. But to say that officers treat everyone the same is to ignore human nature and reality. Everyone is a little biased, a little racists, a little judgmental, a bit quick to judge, a little xenophobic.

As to the back packs, this is just security theater. It makes no one safer not even a little. If you are determined to bring a gun into a school you will. For example a hand gun can be concealed in a text book that has been hollowed out. This reaction is the same as the TSA theater that we all endure at air ports. It isn't working, every time the government tests the TSA they fail with flying colors. The backpack policy will be no different.

As to the second amendment. Yes the government should and does regulate guns. Just like there are limitations on the 1st, 4th, and 5th amendments. But the right is the peoples right, when we as a society limit that right it should be with thoughtful mind and gentle hand. A citizens rights should only be limited in the most limited ways. Restoration of rights should be the default not the exception. For to long we have denied people their constitutional rights and we must stop the loss of these rights. Background checks are not evil but unless participation by law enforcement agencies is compulsory then they will be useless. The burden should be born by the government to show you should not have a firearm. It should not be up to the individual to show good cause why they should.

  18. So they want the police there when the shooting is taking place but they don't want the police there? Seems to me you either want them there or not but it can't be both. They aren't magical fairies that just appear and disapear for whenever it's convenient. Just to say, I'm 27 so a bit old for school but the teachers and students to where I went more often then not would guilt you for being Republican or believing in the second admendment. I actually recall having both my government and history teacher stating that the 2nd admendment wasn't a admendment because it wasn't inforceable. I can't speak for every school system or every school but that environment seems to be a trend.

  19. Re: an amended Constitution. Remember that the BOR only recognizes already existing natural rights given by God, and pledges to protect them. The hypocrisy of overturning them aside, then fine. Don't protect my natural God given rights. I, and millions like me, will protect those rights.

  20. An amendment repealing the second, would be by definition unconstitutional.

Every amendment in the bill of rights is written in the negative. "The government shall not".

Meaning they have no authority to influence.

Meaning the amendment is an understanding that the listed right does not come from the government.

And is true of all people.

    It is God given.

Or as the liberals would say, a "humanitarian right"

And it is the civic duty of the population to overthrow thier government when it has decided it's own Constitution is not worth following.

  21. I find it hilarious when people on the internet are like "I follow your channel because I value your political/scientific/news commentary. When is the Fortnight stream?"

  22. I see David Hogg as someone that wanted & went after the limelight on the backs of his dead classmates. But I'm pissed that adults have taken this kid and USED him to further their agenda! That IS unacceptable! They used him because they expected that we could not say anything against what he has said, it's seen as an attack on a ahem…child.

  23. I was going to start a new political party known as "The Know Nothings", but then I suddenly realized we have two major parties that have already trademarked that name! So… now, I'm working on developing a platform for "The Apathy Party", and the nice thing is I don;t even need one! Sounds crazy, I know, but I figured if I can't like 'em, might's well join 'em!
