  1. Same thing happened to me. I was in a parking lot and a girl driving while doing heroin wrecked into a pole next to my truck. I was video taping them giving her CPR and a cop walked right in front of my camera and told me to stop filming. I put my video on YouTube and the news media contacted me, did an on air interview with me and used my video on a story about people driving on heroin.

  2. Not really sure what their deal is? I've been on scene multiple times w/bystanders and online or tv news media filming and never even thought anything of it. As long as you stay out of our way and don't interfere with patient care we're all good. The only time I snapped on someone filming was because she literally stuck her camera in to the patient compartment of our ambulance while the side door was open. That's a no go, you don't get in my rig.

  3. Someday when you’re having a serious medical emergency and are on a gurney with your penis/balls exposed, you may have a change of heart about who you film. Maybe you’ll even die while being filmed…that would be something worth watching. Remember, just because you’re “allowed” to do something, doesn’t mean you should. Be ethical for a change.

  4. So now the firemen are dismissing you.. did you catch that?? This must be big news.. I'm sure the EMT has already heard that you have been marked!!!!!! Bastards

  5. @onus new service I don't know what state you are from am just telling you about NYC Ems GOP you can video tape a patient as you want but the game change when EMS is present in NYC and I emphasize IN NYC

  6. It's different in every state in NYC you can't and if you do as a reporter the patient face can't be shown Ems like every public officials can be recorded it's the patient you can't record in NYC without consent

  7. stupid twatttt …you think she had special authority from the president to act all supreme…onus handed lil para queen her …. T W A T T T T hdcw love you too

  8. I've been involved in the paramedical/nursing industry in one form or another for over 29 years or so and there is one valuable rule one should learn very quickly in your career….shut your mouth, concentrate on your job and do it to the best of your ability….period. She looked like a wanker and should have kept her gob shut.

  9. Yeah, I want to start doing this with my local cops, but I know that certain officers are quite corrupt and will file any/all charges against me under any circumstances they can possibly construe as being 'unlawful'. I sort of beat them in court once a couple years back (officer filed as many charges against me as he possibly could b/c I wouldn't answer his stupid, unlawful questions, plus he booked me in jail even though he didn't have to, and none of the charges he filed technically qualified for diversion, something I'm sure he made sure of; however, the case was ultimately dismissed for diversion b/c prosecution did not want to deal with a motion to suppress which my attorney threatened to file if they did not give a good dismissal agreement), but I don't want to have to deal with that again, as I do not have the time and money. However, I applaud you on your bravery and principled approach to auditing government action. Please continue to do so; you are one of the few Patriots we have left in this country.

  10. I am on the side of the Emergency crew here. If that was my family member I would want their privacy protected. If it was your family member, even though you’ll say no, I KNOW you would want their privacy protected. Our rights are important, but knowing when to treat people with dignity and respect is also important. Not just this man but all of the others I have seen filming accident victims, even when they are children.

  11. Being In Public Means Being Recorded. Not good when EMS tries to throw around authority they don't have. "Not gonna happen". You damn skippy, Katman! Sell that car on Craigslist for $10,000.
