Marion County, Florida — Gustavo Albriza was arrested on May 29, after fleeing from Deputy Lockhart. “Gus†had been hiding from law enforcement, threatening his neighbors with a firearm, threatening to do harm to law enforcement and basically being a very dangerous bully. Deputy Lockhart saw him driving and attempted a traffic stop. Gus, not being a law-abiding citizen, fled until he crashed his car. He then tried to run away and even attempted to jump in an occupied vehicle nearby. He was quickly captured and was found to be armed with a handgun. Sheriff Woods had directed numerous deputies to search for this suspect over the last couple weeks. Deputies and detectives along with members of local police and federal law enforcement officers, launched a search…..a “relentless†search for Gus. Sheriff Woods said, “To any wanna-be criminals. We won’t stop looking for you. The safety of our citizens is too valuable to let someone like this run around. We will hunt you down until we find youâ€!
