A man was fatally shot by a Baltimore Police Department officer just seconds after police say he robbed a 7-Eleven Monday morning. Police say the robbery happened at about 2:50 a.m., as a police officer happened to be pulling into the parking lot of the 7-Eleven on Harford Rd. and Glenmore Ave. The suspect ran out of the door with a sawed off shotgun. A police spokesman says the officer got out of the car and shot the suspect, who was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. Police say the suspect has been identified as a 20-year-old man, but his next of kin have not yet been notified, so his name has not been released. It was later found that the suspect’s shotgun was not loaded, and the suspect had taken $26 during the robbery, according to police. Police also believe this suspect had worked with several others to rob 20-30 stores in the area recently. The officer is a 17-year veteran and is on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

  1. Most important factor in any city or state is safety.
Without it no place can have a future economically.
To secure it the police must use the force.
    We all profits from it.
For example, this guy is dead and he is not going to robb or do harm to anyone ever again.

  2. "suspect had taken $26 during the robbery"
yeah that's really worth dying for
"Police also believe this suspect had worked with several others to rob 20-30 stores in the area recently"
I don't think this man WORKED an hour in his life, and calling robbing shops WORK is insulting for normal people.

  3. The robber was 20-year-old Eric Garland.
Garland was arrested approximately two weeks prior for robbery and let out on his own recognizance. The year before that for robbery again. The year before that for armed robbery…
Detectives say they are investigating 20 to 30 commercial armed robberies where the weapon and suspect fit the same description of the man involved in this attempted robbery.
It's not necessarily that our laws don't work – It's that the cowards and bleeding heart leftist want to give a million chances at the expense of public safety.
I can't tell you the number of criminals that reoffend and often murder when let back out on the street.
I can guarantee you that if we adopted a "No Mercy" policy and we gunned these bastards down like the cop did here, crime rates would drop because it would put the fear of God in them as well as keep these career criminals from reoffending.

  4. Oh heavens a Black Police Officer shooting and killing a Black armed robber. The horror of it all. Have those BLM folks rioted over this one ?

  5. Its funny to me how most of these videos show black men robbing kidnapping and shooting at cops. Yet nowadays white people are demonized as well as the police. Fake news is the cause of this and they should be held accountable
