Fairburn, Fulton County, Georgia — The Fairburn Police department released Body Cam, surveillance camera footage of one of their officer seriously injured after being run over by a suspect with a pick truck yesterday 04 Feb 2019.
Now authorities are searching for Taurean McShan who shortly after 2 AM McShan ran over a Fairburn officer after being investigated as a suspicious person in a hotel parking lot.
McShan fled to the Tyrone area and abandoned his vehicle. The vehicle was rented in the Memphis, TN area. Anyone with information on McShan is asked to dial 9-1-1.
Our officer is currently undergoing surgery and has serious injuries from being run over. We will keep you posted on his status.

Why the officer on the passenger side didn't take the keys out of the ignition is something I can not fathom. Criminals are renown for fleeing, and using vehicles as weapons.

As a woman myself, I'm not afraid to say there is NO WAY that women should be in combat positions. Our first instinct is to freeze up and second guess when faced with this sort of thing.
