An intense stand-off between Pasco deputies and a knife-wielding man was caught on body cam footage on Thursday. The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance in Land O’ Lakes where they say Miles Sety had attacked his family, smashed several car windows, lacerated himself and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage. Investigators believe he was on narcotics at the time of the incident. Sety fled the scene was located by cops shortly after the rampage behind a privacy fence in a nearby community. Deputies climbed over the fence and approached Sety with weapons drawn, but he was not deterred. Sety refused several orders to drop his knife and continued taunting onlookers. Deputies deployed tasers, but the tasers were not effective, possibly due to Sety being high on narcotics, deputies say.

Sety was eventually arrested and now faces the following charges:

Aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer
Battery on a law enforcement officer
Felony criminal mischief
Battery
Domestic battery
Resisting arrest with violence

  1. Good police work and how it needs to be.

have seen way too many execution videos where US cops are standing 10 to 15m way in a half-circle against a guy with a kitchen knife that clearly is not mentally stable, and they simply just lit him up with bullets like it was a fre4king pinata.
The cop's life or the bystander's life needs to be in imminent danger before you can open lethal fire.
    Good work officers.

  2. These cops showed restraint and used non-lethal devices to safely apprehend an armed suspect. So apparently the issue of police using deadly force inappropriately isn’t a training issue.🤔 This suspect didn’t immediately comply, and was armed and passively aggressive. Yet he wasn’t shot. Not even once. So don’t talk about training or any bs like that. Cops treat people differently. Period.

  3. The officer could have reloaded his TASER and shot him again right on his back. I guarantee that he had a very high likelihood of getting a good connection and causing an NMI to the subject while he was on his knees and still had the knife. That would have given them the 5 second window to take him into custody and secure the knife. But I digress. Not everyone thinks the same way. Especially under high stress.

  4. Easy fix: "Get on the ground!" (or drop the knife, gun, club, bow and arrow) (or get out of the car or let me see your hands) suspect does not comply…..BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM.

  5. Cops are able to arrest this white man without killing him. Just finished watching another video of same situation with a black man, as soon as he pulled out the knife cop killed him in 2 seconds.

  6. Strange. Just saw a video of a cop execute a black man in the intersection within 3 seconds of seeing a knife. Why do they have so much patience with white suspects?
