The Montgomery County Police Department have released body-worn camera video from a deadly officer-involved shooting that was determined to be justified. Montgomery County Police Officer Anand Badgujar fatally shot 41-year-old Robert White on June 11 in the parking lot of a Silver Spring townhouse community. The Howard County State’s Attorney’s Office reviewed the evidence in the case and “concluded that Officer Badgujar’s actions were justified under the circumstances.†According to police, Badgujar, who was in the area responding to an unrelated call, attempted to speak with White. The investigation shows that White became aggressive with Badgujar and assaulted him multiple times. Police say Badgujar tried pepper spraying White, but White continued to attack the officer. The body-worn camera video was recorded from the cameras from Officer Badgujar and a backup police officer.

If you live your life RIGHT. If you make the right decisions in life. If you’re a productive member of society then the police have nothing on you if you’re in an encounter with police. Running is always suspicious. Innocent people don’t run, innocent people aren’t this combative and non compliant. Normal people do not lunge at the police they don’t attempt to get in the drivers seat of a police car they don’t force the officer to shoot in self defense. I’ve been stopped at least 8 times in the past 20 years.a couple of the stops were so petty and stupid and honestly twice the officer was a complete butthole, however I still gave them the respect that they deserved, I answered their questions, truthfully, I provided the information they requested, I didn’t curse, didn’t get argumentative or confrontational, regardless of if I felt I didn’t deserve to be pulled over or not, I was in the wrong every time and they had the right to pull me over. I didn’t get detained, arrested, tased or shot and didn’t end up in jail. I didn’t have drugs, guns or warrants so I left the traffic stop with a ticket or warning and made it home alive!
