  1. Im a fire cadet and police explorer and love watching and listening to all of the insults jokes and pranks we all pull on each other.

  2. I was with a fire department in Colorado. We took a big city cop and he absolutely killed it. Highly motivated, sucked in knowledge like it was the oxygen he lived on. He changed my opinion forever.

  3. Yup my big brother started out as a cop , & decided to be a firefighter & ended up a Deputy Chief before he retired , both of his sons my nephews r Battalion Chiefs now ❤ I went on to being in k9 training ❤

  4. That's just silly talk, we all know that cops aren't interested in saving lives or helping people. Their all about being revenue generating machines and hurting innocent people.

Seriously, I thank all first responders for risking their lives to make communities safer and saving lives. I always want to thank officers but they're never around. I guess I'll just have to start stalking them and wait for them to stop somewhere. What could possibly go wrong?

  5. My friend was removed from a burning building by a cop after he passed out front smoke inhalation. The fire department wasn't on the seen yet. The cop was a rookie we found out later.

  6. I have to say that I have friends that are both Cops and Firefighters! Nothing wrong with that but it is fun when we poke fun at each other!

  7. You can’t be medics that’s for sure. I love it when I make coppers get queasy and almost faint when I’ve placed an I/O (IV in the bone)someone’s shoulder or proximal tibia. Pussies

  8. my grandpa wore uniforms in public service his whole working life. Marine in Korean War, State Guard member, Sheriff's deputy, reserve officer, volunteer firefighter, ACLS paramedic, he probably secretly drove a tow truck on the side so he could help people. Apparently, if you take the right classes and work for an overfunded but understaffed agency you can have all your 6 years old self's dream jobs.

  9. Cops usually (in my experience) get dispatched at the same time if not afterwards by the fd. They race full tilt boogie to beat the fire truck there (yes your shitty little squad car the weighs a 10th of the pump is a lot faster. Get on scene usually a solid 5 minutes before fire and attempt to through dirt on it after inefficiently exhausting the 5 LB extinguisher they brought. Time that could be far better spent doing a 360 and providing and up to date recon report to incoming units. Once fd is on scene, tags the hydrant and deploys attack teams, the next pd unit in pulls the very classy move of parking on and/or driving over the hivol line. This usually results in heated exchange between the fd officer on mobile command and the doh head whom had the entire block to park on but had to pick right on top of the only charged supply line on scene. But hey, what's family for right?

  10. My father was an officer for several years, he told me many stories about putting out fires, hose draggers nowhere to be found
