I thought it was good. It could've been better, but it wasn't nearly the dumpster fire everyone said it was. It had good performances, but my main problem was the MacGuffin, Tikka.
Also how predictable it was for Will Smith's character to be Bright at the end.
I was more interested in Joel Edgerton's Orc character way more than the fairy, witch, elves, bright, wand stuff. It should've just been a more grounded cop dramady.
The perspective was unique and the story kinda cool. It was a completely different look at Science Fiction
Bright was an awesome movie, Kinda merged cops and warcraft together hope there will be more.

The premise of Bright seemed a lot like Shadowrun to me, except that in Shadowrun, the world was normal and was changed by some magical cataclysm. Some people were changed and were changed into other fantasy race beings. There's a lot of racial tension in Shadowrun because of course any time you give people a reason to be divided and hate each other, naturally they're going to take it, plus it takes place in a distopian future full of corruption and toxic corporatism.

Bright was a horrible movie – and if you did honestly enjoy it, I'd have to say that you perhaps didn't fully understand what the writer's message was.
