I got to thinking about how not fun it is to deal with drunks as a cop. That made me think of some of my video sketches I’ve made on the topic. Then, I put them together.

Good day.

  1. I got to thinking about how not fun it is to deal with drunks as a cop. That made me think of some of my video sketches I've made on the topic. Then, I put them together.

    Good day.

  2. I don't taste no milkshake there bub 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  3. This video is old and this comment will likely not be read by anyone but…
Cop pulls over Colorado driver, "How high are you?"
Colorado Driver: "No officer, you got it all wrong. It's Hi, how are you?"

  4. There's an episode of Alaska's state troopers where a trooper asked a drunk driver how much he had to drink. The drunk told him 2 beers. After a bit of back and fourth the trooper asked him how big the beers were. The drunk said something along the line of, "20oz"

  5. I have a feeling some of these are based on true events. People do a lot of odd things while drunk.

  6. Hahaha dude i ran across your video by accident then kept watching other ones….dude you are awesome man, may God bless you and keep you safe in these streets man, bless

  7. I bet that's fun dealing with the drinkers. Lol…my uncle is a cop in Green Bay Wisconsin..he has some stories too…😊

  8. I used to work at a 7-11 and we had our "regulars" they'd try to buy alcohol in an intoxicated state I could still smell the booze on their breath. They didn't like me when I refused to sell them alcohol. One customer was like "you just lost a customer" after he tried to buy some Natty Daddy's and would you know it he's back the next day buying the exact same beer.

  9. I can only imagine what you have to deal with. And I know there are some really nasty drunks out there. I hate drunk drivers, hate is a strong word but accurate in this sense.

  10. Love the video – Good memories.

In the Navy many, many years ago, this was our training as an MP on dealing with drunks:

    Rules for dealing with drunks:

    1. You cannot reason with a drunk – don't try
    2. Drunks telegraph everything – if you get hit by a drunk, you're stupid
    3. If you're talking with a drunk to tell them what to do, then you're trying to reason with a drunk – refer back to rule number 1, idiot.

With the "I can't even count" how many drunks I dealt with, and many who attempted to grab my sidearm, I NEVER was in fear of my life, even with guys who had a head or more taller and 100+ pounds on me. Why? Because I followed the above three, idiot proof rules, and payed attention to my surroundings. Any LEO that shoots a drunk should lose their ability to be LEO – forever, idiot.

FYI: Had many drunks that came back to the ship that were so drunk, we had to post watches on them to make sure they didn't die from alcohol poisoning.

  11. On the one hand I am considering becoming a cop, even signing up for a ride along. On the other hand…. wow I hope I never have to deal with people that drunk.

  12. Mike, , serious question: please, please, please, do a video on why the military are trained not to fire unless fired upon, but police have latitude to shoot whenever a perception of fear exists in their mind. Many would interpret this as we treat terrorists better than American civilians, but if you could break this down, it would help a lot! Thanks.

  13. Ok so i got a real question for you Mike, i recently watched a donut video of British cops trying to tase a car, and at the end he said that "here, it would have been a good shooting all day long" but the British police did not shoot and no police officers died, so my question is: are there more police officer deaths in the uk than in America and if not, why so?

  14. Mike knows all about drunks. He built his recording studio with his liquor bar front and center. Then Mike and his tattooed alcoholic cop buddies sit around getting drunk in front of his underage son. It's not surprising because Mike sets an example for his kid by taking stuffed animals to a gun range and shooting them to bits while he giggles like a little girl. Not the behavior of a responsible adult, let alone a police officer.

  15. Once around 2:00 in the morning a drunk crashed his car on mall property. I was working security and I asked him for some identification and he handed me a bag of KFC. When I saw this video I could not stop laughing.

  16. I’m am 14 and interested in law enforcement. I world greatly appreciate any tips or suggestions regarding habits I should make and things I should do. Wether it be working out consistently or using a cops mindset when taking on situations. You videos have been helpful and keep me hopeful that I just might beet the odds and make it to what I love
