The night the dodgers won, I went to downtown los angeles. The dodger fans were so eager and excited for this win, as they are every year. And FINALLY, AFTER SO MANY YEARS, AND THE CHEATING SCANDAL THE DODGERS WON the WORLD SERIES! And the Dodger fans took to the streets in celebration, much as the Lakers fans did a month ago…LAPD RIOT POLICE, AND THE RIOT HORSE POLICE hit the streets to take on the dodger fans. It is intense being in the middle of an emotional charged situation like this. I drove down there, parked, got on a electric scooter, and went to go document anything that happened. I met an Officer/Sgt BOGART. This cop like many others, doesn’t understand; the rights of press/media/independent journalism. Talking down to me because I don’t have ‘press credentials’. Tells me to go back to school….This is a long video, but I wanted to give you more of what I saw~ let me know what you think:

2 weeks ago Gavin Newsom vetoed a law that would have allowed press to stay in areas that have been declared an unlawful assembly. The law was broad enough to include citizen media. As of right now the only media that can document police in these scenarios is police approved media. Go figure

Yeah your comment section needs to chill. This always happens when a city's sports team wins a championship. I have seen it every year since I was a kid and it all blows away by morning.
