America, the greatest country on earth. Wow.
Such military indoctrination damages the mind by teaching coldness, no love, no empathy etc. If a person is without love or empathy then it may be constructive but for a normal person it can only be destructive.
The US have a lot of positive sides, but in many of the states the prison system really sucks.
How I think The life sentence should be, you count The average person life length, The life length is about 75 years old. Then you multiply it by 2, because you took a life and you're life is screwed after that too.
I don't know what future may hold🤔🇰🇪

I'm not convinced the guards military approach with humiliation works. They thinks it breeds respect and fear, but it probably creates resentment and anger.

5 years for a theft, in Germany you get 6 years for a bank robbery. Shoplifting or theft is punished with fine paying.

this is for me like "Oh My GOD" I´m from Czech rep. and I cannot belive what prison and jail look like in the US. So strict and humilitating. And fun fact: in less strict prisons when they treat you like a worthy person is way less relapses than in the US.
