  1. Mike, you should consider acting. You would be a great asset to police roles and you have the right personality and already getting good practice and public response from this stuff. Just an idea! I'm people in Hollywood would bat an eye at you due to your existing popularity. Happy new years! Thank you for your service. – Jack H., Correctional Officer

  2. Mike, I just found your channel yesterday, and you have all of the answers I'm looking for about dealing with the police, and you've restored my faith in law enforcement. You have an amazing personality too, and make your videos funny and your own, instead of just doing lawyer talk. One of my favorite channels already, keep up the amazing work man, love ya.

  3. This probably isn't the place, just been watching a lot of good biker vids. What do you think of motorcyclists? Evidedently I watched this before, also evidently I was too drunk to remember(blow me it's Christmas), but my car hasn't moved. It would be good to know your thoughts on bikers.

  4. @Mike The Cop, So I was pulled over in Ar. by the state Highway Patrol, the officer said I was following to close to another vehicle, nothing to bad I was in no danger of receiving a ticket. The officer ask where I was coming from as I have a Wa. plate on my vehicle, told the guy what was going on, still no problem. Then the guy ask my if I have any methamphetamine in my vehicle, couldn't help but laugh and say no. The officer ask if he could search the vehicle I said sure, he ask if I had any weapons on my person I said no, he did not pat me down or even ask to. He searches the car, finds nothing. Then he ask me to take a seat in the front seat of his patrol vehicle, I didn't think anything about it at the time. He talks to me about whatever and says my car really smells of cannabis. I lived in Washington for 4 years and have hot boxed the car while sitting at work more then a few times so maybe the smell remains, I am a cigarette smoker and drove across half the country in the last month, and had not smoked weed in the car for at least 3 months as I was looking to start a new job.

I think the reason the officer wanted me to take a seat in his vehicle, is because he was a K-9 unit and his partner was in the back seat, I do honestly believe he wanted to see if the K-9 would hit on me having anything on my person.

So my question is does him asking me to sit in the front seat of the patrol vehicle fit under the law of an officer being able to control the movement of people in a traffic stop?

Sorry for the long comment, I have just come across your channel recently, very informative good work on the break down you provide.

  5. I'm beginning the think the real value of your youtube channel is the relationship you're buidling / already have with your son.

  6. MERRY CHRISTMAS MIKE!
hope you have a great day&time with family and loved ones! thanks for your channel, your time, your videos and your service! hope you have a good Xmas and Happy New Year

  7. Completely off topic, but, if you get bit by a dog do you always have to call the cops? I was walking home from work last week when a pit bull ran from a yard without a fence and bit me on my leg. The owners apologized and said the dog was never like that. I asked about it's vaccinations and stuff and that was it. Oh, these people and their dog live just down the street from me so I was almost home. Since then everyone I've told about the incident says I could be held responsible if that dog hurts someone else and it comes out that I didn't call the cops when it bit me so like they could say I knew it was dangerous but didn't do anything about it. Honestly I don't believe the dog is dangerous I think I was just walking a bit too close to it's territory and we all know our pets can be total sweethearts with us because they know us but we can't predict how they'll act with a stranger. Oh, and it bit me through my pant leg. It didn't bleed but left a nice ring of teeth marks that scabbed over and I got a lovely large bruise that still hurts if it's bumped or touched.

  8. Quick question because you are by far the most open LEO I have seen. Why do officers wait so long to tell you what the stop is for after being asked multiple times. Why do you insist on ID and dancing around the question what did I do wrong. Why not just tell the person we believe you were doing _____'.
