In California a government agency has 10 days to respond in writing to a public records request. The agency must either provide the records at that time or ask for a 14 day extension or provide in writing that they aren’t providing the records and list the specific CA code that exempts the records.
I received a 14 day extension letter and then never heard from the city ever again. After 1 year the city of Redondo Beach hasn’t provided any records that I requested.

  2. She should win an academy award, for her acting. But she's so likeable, and so pleasant.I can tell she's done this for years. Just curious is she is told to do this, or if she engineered this act on her own?

  3. Thank you for posting this. The problem is the peneltys are never enforced. Once again the double standard for them and us is very evident.

  4. what kind of public office has disappearing emails after 30 days? Corruption in place. You should file a suit under the pubic records act.

  5. You contacted them multiple times. Your info is continually wiped from the system. What is so damning in those specific requests? Are they negligent with all requests or just yours? Two years later, have the records ever been received?

  6. Who is at the top of the food chain?
You might be dealing with a bottom feeder.
Why don't you sit down and get it in person???

  7. She telling you to send it to her while you are standing there so she can find out where it's going why you want send it to her while you are standing there that makes it look like you are doing something wrong

  8. Should be able to file complaint against the office and have them investigated and fined for not doing their jobs.

  9. Thanks for posting the video. I got to tell you you're way too patient. You should have filed a lawsuit a long time ago. It's obvious that government doesn't give a s*** about us little people. Make them follow the law! File a lawsuit! You can do it without an attorney. Until we start making them accountable they don't care!
