Is officer safety real? Or to control law abiding citizens Adventura Police Department

19. Somebody please help! There’s a video I’m trying to find. A cop pulls over a black male traveling for work, the video is from cops car of the guy he pulled over sitting in his front seat. Cop questions guy for like 30 minutes trying to make small talk asking him about real estate and why he’s traveling and litteraly won’t stop questioning him . It’s a huge video a ton of people have seen. I’m trying to find it again and have searched google anc YouTube with everything I can think of and I can not find it to save my life. Somebody please find it and comment a link to it. Please!!

22. Officer safety is a control mechanism. It's simple psychology. Most Americans have been either taught to respect or fear cops.

    Cops these days took that and turned it into a system of control and compliance. By threat of arrest and intimidation.

    Cops approach citizens and the first thing they do is start barking commands. Hands out your pocket, stand over there, sit down right here.

    Its a mechanism taught to them to see how much citizens will comply and automatically give them all the power and control of a situation .

31. 10 years ago I lived in that city. I became friends with an Aventura police officer who was an actor in my class. After a couple of months we became friendly. He was actually a really nice guy. I can’t speak with the other officers or to my friend because I was never pulled over by him. I just know as people this guy was a nice one
