Burlington Police Chief Brandon del Pozo said that pointing guns at knife-wielding suspects is counterproductive. Oh really?

  1. Poor butt hurt Brandon blocked and reported me on twitter for sending him a picture of a special needs helmet telling him he needed it because clearly he rode the short bus

  2. sarcastic voice: I think police should never use more force then the suspect…
If the suspect has a knife, using a gun would be unfair, and the officer should use a knife as well…

  3. Great points, and also who's to say the guy with the knife doesn't also have a gun tucked away somewhere. The way we are taught the force continuum is to enter the engagement 1 step above the threat. Of course I still think the best way to handle a guy with a knife is a guy with a police cruiser running them over ; ).

  4. Vermont is a bunch of corrupt politicians and most police chiefs are in their pockets. Main reason I moved from that state's corruption.

  5. Like I said before, the gun grabbers are not going to stop with just the citizens. They will use you to take ours, then they will take yours.

  6. In germany the officer usually has his hand on the holster and does not immediately aim his gun at the suspect. It seems to work. Maximum escalation can sometimes be counterproductive.
Furthermore: in extreme situations the words can be as clear and understandable as they are. This does not mean that the words are also processed by the suspect.

  7. Funny thing is this dude resigned because he set up a fake twitter account to troll a local activist who was critical of him. And he lied to the press about it. Twice. Burlington is a cesspool of woke culture and political correctness.

  8. This will be Fastest promotion agency in the nation…stepping in a dead mans shoes or filling the slots left open from the fleeing officers?

  9. XD reminded me on guard duty training, DI: "I don't care if they have explosives, guns, cars, whatever! If someone attacks your position, you select friendliness on your G3 and let the good people from H&K do the talking. If not, and you survive, I will grab a spoon and dig out your little heart and eat it."
