I ordered up a patrol series build from Agency Arms recently ( http://www.agencyarms.com/ ) and while they did not ask if I would make a video about the build, I did ask their permission to do so and include their product and found the entire experience with the company to be an awesome one.

In this video I discuss what modifications were done to upgrade a stock model Glock 17 (Gen 3) and take it to the range for the first time. Can’t wait to acclimate and do some moving exercises more than just target plinking. Definitely have to work on that shot anticipation.

ALSO: In rewatching my own video I got a little bored, honestly. I should have gotten to the point sooner or spoken more succinctly but I wanted to get fresh content to you guys more than I wanted to remake the explanation part of the video. It is what it is.

  1. I'll be having a pretty busy week this week so enjoy fighting in this self-appointed pinned comment where you can beat the world's deadest horse with the stick of 9mm vs. .40

  2. Stippling and slide serrations, as well as trigger guard mods are all what comes stock on sig p365. Can you do a video on p365 vs glock ? Dying to see how you like the p365. I was a glock guy until i held and shot the p365

  3. I know this is an older video but man you make great content and have only strengthened my respect for cops in general. I've been bouncing around to most of your videos regardless of how old they are. Love the content man.

  4. Best night site advice I've ever heard was from Thunder Ranch and that's if you can't see your sights you cant see who or what your shooting at so you probably shouldn't be throwing lead if you cant see what or what is behind where your shooting. Unless you have someone actively shooting at you don't shoot where you cant see. It's one of the top rules know what your shooting at and whats behind it.

  5. You like the perfect person to play some shooty shoooty videogame, see your accuracy 😉

  6. Nice gun. That's cool you shoot with your son. I shoot with my son all the time. I have some days where he absolutely smokes me. But you know what those are the greatest loosing moments of my life lol. Shooting is just plain fun.

  7. badass gun. "i dont use sights". goddamnit. every time i see something like "crapload of bystanders hit in shootout" its always somebody with a glock spraying rounds without looking. force yourself to get into the habit of lining the sights up with your dominant eye when shooting. dont be that guy in the paper. you are better than that.

  8. I started my career in ‘68 w/a Colt .38 revolver, then a variety of S&W .38s all supplied by my department. We transitioned to the Glock 23 (.40) in the late ‘80s and I finally retired in late ‘97. As to the sights I survived three deadly encounters w/my department .38 and only had time to use my sights one time, to save a hostage by shooting the hostage taker.

  9. Get one of those pistol corrective pie charts. Works like a champ! Where ever your land on target, the pie chart tells you how to correct it.

  10. Every Glock owner.."Glock is the best firearm ever made!" (After a month in the the custom shop.)

Also every Glock owner "Its definitely not the gun. Its me."

  11. Love you videos brother! I feel like you know this but the second grip that you showed with your left hand thumb on top is always going to have a tendency to pull you left and down. Again constructive loving comment, I feel like you already know that but you didn't reference it interact with that part of it other than just saying you were not being a great shot that day. Keep it up brother and stay safe!
