That is FUNNY. I once met a giant cop who struggled to get out of his patrol car. Took him 3 tries and then after he helped me out for some situation… he stumbled out of my front door — he was over 6'9" and over 300 pounds about. Couldn't understand why they couldn't give him a bigger vehicle for that poor cop?! LOL

I wonder if this doesn't feed into many police/public relations, as well… for example: Although elderly, (but having darker hair and perhaps fewer wrinkles than average) and 1 1/2 inches shorter than I was in my 20s (compressed discs, etc), I'm still way taller than average. So… despite having a No-Expiration handicapped hanger, I still tower over most people, including most cops. So while "Please step out of the car" to me means mucho effort, pain, and warning that I have to reach for my cane, to the officer it might mean "If he falls over, he could squish my entire neighborhood". Does that make any sense?
