The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle pictured above. The vehicle is wanted in connection with a deadly hit and run that occurred on October 1, 2022. On Saturday, October 1, 2022, at approximately 2:02AM, a fatal auto versus pedestrian accident occurred in the 15th District at Torresdale Ave. & Robbins Ave.
Unit #1 (White SUV, unknown make/model) was traveling east on Robbins Ave. approaching Marsden St. when a pedestrian attempted to cross street in the mid-block. Unit #1 made contact with that pedestrian which resulted in fatal injuries to the pedestrian. Unit #1 continued on Robbins Avenue and fled the scene of the accident. PFD Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to Frankford Torresdale Hospital where she was pronounced at 2:43AM.
