The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that resulted in critical injuries.
On Monday, July 18, 2022, at approximately 9:50 PM, there was an auto versus pedestrian crash/leaving the scene at 50th Street and Haverford Avenue.
Unit #1 (Unknown Vehicle Make/Model – possibly a Nissan – dark-colored with tinted windows) struck four (4) pedestrians in the crosswalk of 50th Street and Haverford Avenue and fled the scene. Two children, ages 13 and 3, suffered bruises and abrasions. One adult female – 29 years of age, sustained a major injury to her left leg. PFD Medics transported the female to Presbyterian Hospital. The two children were transported to CHOP.
The striking vehicle was last seen leaving the scene westbound on Haverford Avenue.
