The Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit is looking to identify the individual, depicted in the following surveillance video excerpts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the homicide by shooting of a 23-year-old male, that occurred on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022, at about 12:30 AM, in the 400 block of N. 35th Street.
The suspect is observed walking in the opposite direction as the victim. After passing the victim, the suspect immediately turns and fires several gunshots at the back of the victim’s head from very close distance. The suspect is last observed running northbound on 35th Street after crossing Spring Garden Street.

- Suspect Description: Black male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a full-length front zipper and two front pockets and black pants. He was wearing a light colored covid style mask that was covering his chin and mouth.
