So what I could gather, the hawthorne pd was chasing 3 teens in a car, unknown why, they did a pit maneuver and the teens car slammed into a gated parking lot and the pd car burst into flames and was still smoking on the tow truck taking it away.
2 of the teens took a trip in the ambulance and the other (i think a female) was taken by pd.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THESE 7 CITIES ARE PAYING UPWARDS OF 16 MILLION $$ DOLLARS TO CHANGE THEIR RADIO FREQUENCY TO ENCRYPTED?!
paying that much money, and robbing us of our right to po transparency?!

A suggestion for Laura and other auditors…Get your hands on a "patriot style 9 function flashlight"… available on eBay and other vendors for less than $15.
It's small and light enough to carry with ease. It has a solar charging system, and can be charged, or charge other devices, by USB.
If you encounter a regular citizen who's phone has just quit due to low battery, whip out your flashlight and charging cable, and have their device back up and operating within 1 minute.
It will supply power to get the citizens device working well enough to transfer their recording to your device.
It's also bright enough to convince an asshole cop to get his light out of your eyes…in the unlikely event something like that should ever happen.
