  1. Calaesthetics and bodyweight exercises are great, consider doing some kettlebells too. They are brutal!! if you do them properly and consistently they will totally improve any athletic endeavor. A lot of Jiu-Jitsu players do kettlebells for explosiveness and muscle endurance needed for the mat. Best of luck!

  2. The secret is CONSISTENCY……….and most people just Can't hack it. Let's be honest, most people don't want to scrutinize their main escape….which is often food! Be honest with What and how many times you're eating…..and change it….consistently, you'll see the scale change in about 2 weeks or so. It's really That simple.

  3. Hey Mike, I know you don't want unsolicited advice… but… I'm a young cop who also has some education and alot of experience in fitness/weightlifting. If you're going to do pushups and sit ups on the long term, please do some pulling workouts too whenever you're able (pullups, assisted pullups, rows, lat pulldowns, something). I'm sure you want to be happy and healthy for as long as possible and your elbow and shoulder joints will thank you for balancing out your training. Stay safe man!

  4. I thought the point of working out was so that I can post photos to instagram of me varying states of undress. You're telling me that's not how it is?!?

  5. You should try and get with under armor to sponsor a fitness challenge with their mapmyfitness app so we can log the workouts. I use the app and I have done a challenge for the USO (I am prior military and hopefully a future law enforcement officer)

  6. When you were talking about meal plans and exercise plans / general unsolicited advice, did you want people not to post those on the band app or to post them to the Band app exclusively? It was a little unclear to me whether your personal inbox was being flooded or the band app isn't what you want it to be.

  7. Getting healthy changed my life. I lost 135 pounds over 2 years and in the best shape of my life! Get in shape and never stop, you will be so much happier and healthy.

  8. I enjoyed this video. I am starting a fitness routine so it's cool to get motivation from people I look up to. I need to benchmark myself to see how far I need to go to reach my goals. I want to meet the minimum fitness requirements for the Army Rangers. I don't plan on joining up, but I want to be in fighting shape if I ever would find myself in a bad situation. I am married and plan on having kids some day and I want to be in great physical condition to defend myself and my family should I ever need to. I hope you meet your fitness goals.   10. What is considered your optimal weight? I don't know how tall you are that is why I ask. I know you state your goal is to improve in cooper standard and not necessarily drop weight.

  11. As the mind goes so does the body and vice versa. Spiritual Fitness and Physical Fitness is what it’s all about.

  12. Mental and physical health is very important for everyone, especially LEOs and anyone in law enforcement, fire departments etc.
